Yea I wanted a mess around watch that could take some abuse. With that I steered away from an automatic watch as my dress watch is this. Plus for around $200 it was a steal.

Why my dive watch is automatic has been to war, jumped out of air planes, dove in three continents and hasn't left my wrist is 9 years or so..

Automatic doesn't mean delicate.

In the end I like you Hamilton more than most of the watches here especially the Tag's..

Hamilton has some great American history behind it!

Oh I agree, I guess delicate is not the write word, I just have a nice Automatic that has a great metal band that I didn't want beat up. I call it my "suit" watch - unfortunately it seems I get farther and farther from having to wear suits - silly business casual these days.
