Undecided
Im still in 2 minds.
I have been following the rumours, most of which turned out to be pretty accurate, and enjoyed the launch. As usual, I have got carried away with the hype, and you can see from my sig that I'm a complete Apple convert and fanboy!

BUT, as I was about to press the checkout button I paused and thought £529 ($650 is it?) is a lot of money for a phone...
Now, of course it's not just a phone, so much more than a phone, it's a smartphone, the best iPhone that Apple has ever made....without a doubt it is, but another BUT... I very rarely use my iPhone as a phone, the odd call and text that's all. Before I bought the iPad, much of my iPhone use was the apps, and still is now.
So why do I need an iPhone?
Status - no, that doesn't bother me
Having the latest gadget - yea, a bit I have to admit, but that doesn't justify a £500+ purchase in my book
Convenience - yes, it fits in my pocket
It's another elegant state of the art Apple product - of course it is!
Now, if I didn't have an iPad the list would be much longer...
The other thing that has been going through my head is if I had to choose between the latest iPad and iPhone, the iPad would win hands down and it's £130 ($200?) cheaper. Apart from making calls obviously, the iPad does everything the iPhone does but so much better.
So what am doing even thinking about an iPhone 5? After this self analysis, surely the answer is to keep the 4 for the convenience of having apps at your fingertips and making the odd call and text?
Well yes, but I'm still tempted.....
