Sold my Series 0 SS black sports band watch on craigslist for $200. Sure that is $400 less than what I originally paid, but it had some wear and I got good use out of it. I figured I had it about 400 days so I paid about a dollar a day to have it. I am really good at justifying things. ;)

I was going to purchase a AW2 ss in November when they have stock in UK stores but this weekend I picked up a SS 1st generation with a brown leather loop band for £180 I think it was a bargain i was really looking forward to the AW2 so I hope i will get the same wow factor from this I haven't had a AW yet so the 1st generation should wow me. I must say though that you have to be careful on ebay as sellers advertise the 1st generation as a series 1 it get confusing so if anyone is thinking on buying from eBay be warned look carefully especially if your looking for a series 1 you could end up with a 1st generation.
This is a picture of my purchase I'm really excited.

haha i like that :)

I just wanted to update you guys and let you know that i sold my SS 42mm Milanese loop series 0 today for 260, i guess you were right about it being the right offer being the watch has had its own share of wear and tear and now there are 2 models better than it ,series 1 and series 2.

i would have went out and bought the Series 2 SS with a Sport band today but it seems to be sold out everywhere, Any tips on where i can buy one sooner than the Nov 7 estimate on Apple.com?

I actually did upgrade, and had a chance to try the S0 SS and S2 SS (both 42mm) side by side. My view is that if you have the S0 SS, don't need the GPS and don't swim with it, then there's no compelling reason to upgrade if you mainly use the built-in apps. The S2 is faster, but it is often barely perceptible; it's sometimes more noticeable, such as when a map is being rendered. The S2 did seem noticeably faster with third-party apps. I do like the stronger haptic feedback, and the brighter screen outdoors is definitely noticeable and useful. I'll also wear my watch more now that it is more water resistant. Thickness definitely going in the wrong direction. For S0 SS owners, the upgrade is definitely more a luxury than a necessity. I was able to justify it by not getting the Hermes model; the price difference can now go towards the S3...
