Agree to your point.. But the fact also remains that Apple phones have been one of the thinnest available in the market during 2014 and 2015.. And not many people are happy with overall ergonomics and slipperiness of the phone (no doubt it does look great and feel premium). Imagine the iPhone 6 with the same thinness as last year and smaller bezel size.. Obviously they would have compromised somewhere..Apparently you have no idea how new electronic complement consume less and less power for each generation.
New CPU, memory, controller, and accessories device will continue consume less power, and this is been reduce yearly. This improvement on power consumption reduction allow Apple and other company, one of them I work for, to continue design product smaller, but consume less power, yearly.
Don't believe me, find a friend in electronics device with CPU/memory design, with yearly product renew/improvement, and ask them about these question for power consumption reduction yearly.
I just want Apple to make a ergonomically superior phone which feels nice while holding without a case and people can work on it single handed
