I loved the 5/5S design but the 6/6+/6s/6S+ feels so much nicer in hand.
And we're off! Rounded edges comes to the first turn, with chamfered edges close behind. It's neck and neck as we come up on the back stretch. Wait a minute coming up fast on the outside, it's.....no can't be ... Samsung android. Rounding the back turn glass front and back takes a slight lead, chamfered edges recovers and comes up fast. Samsung android runs out of power and starts to lag big time. Coming up on the finish rounded corners takes the lead........ It's rounded corners racing through to the finish with chamfered edges half a length behind.

We have a winner ladies and gentlemen. Walking to the winners circle is rounded corners, bread and raised at the 6s stables. This ends the macrumor's Preakness. This is your announcer, what the HEK, asking you to please join us for the next triple crown thread race. Featuring pixel pony and a amoled display as they race for the macrumor's cup.

I'm ready. Can't wait. I've been holding out on a new iphone since the end of 2012. Switched to the Dark Side:rolleyes:) cause I wanted a phablet and Apple didn't deliver. Next came the 6+ which to me looked clumsy (still does) and just 1 GB of RAM. Than the 6s+. Same clumsy design (I do love the regular 6 design, but on the + those bezels look huge). So I forced myself to use my Note another year. I'm not spending a little under a 1000 euro on a phone that I don't like the look of. I do hope Apple comes up with a more elegant + design. I don't mind at all if it's a little fatter and we get some extra batterylife, but please trim those bezels. Wouldn't mind if they switched to an oled screen either, because I'm already anxious for having to play the screenlottery (which I hate) if they stick with lcd.

Mostly they are sticking with the lcd next year too so hard luck to you I guess

Complain when phone gets lighter and thinner, complain when phone gets heavier and thicker.

No matter what, people will always complain about something - size, shape, weight, storage, memory, screen size, and etc...

Ready, currently on iPhone 6 from sept. 2014. New design is the best iPhone feature there is, everything else will be a nice bonus. "S" models last longer in both support and value, but new design is always more exciting.

And maybe, just maybe, if the 7 isn't that great I'll just get the iPhone 8. It's not like my 6 is going to fall apart...

Well I was waiting for the 7+ but I caved. I was able to get a brand new LG G4 for less than 300 euro's after a cashback from LG. That was just to good an offer. I would have preferred the 7+, but the G4 still is a pretty good phone with a great camera. And a 700 euro price difference is just too much for my liking. I freed up the funds for the Air3 coming september:).

Oh just wait till the real leaks begin in mid-summer, and you all will be lining up drooling over the 7, lol.

I look forward to the iPhone 7 and especially iOS 10/iOS X.

Whether I buy one depends on two factors, the design and the baseline storage. I miss the design of the 5S but do enjoy the bigger screen of the 6. If the new design is a step forward from the 6/6S (shouldn't be too difficult) I might consider it. Getting 12Mp, 2GB Ram and 3D Touch would be a great added bonus, considering that the iPhone is my most used device.

However, with the recent price increase here in Sweden I'm not even going to consider a new iPhone unless 32GB minimum becomes the base storage. I bought my 64GB 6 just before prices increased. As it is, I would never pay the money they currently charge for the 64GB model, nor would I settle with 16GB storage. We'll see what happens!

Little off topic, Why do people call iOS 10 X ? xD whats the rumors of iOS 10 ? :)

I got in on the same deal in the States. Except I ended up getting 2 LG G4's, they cost me nothing.
$100 instant savings
$300 trade in credit with trade in of crappy $9 tracfone
$200 LG Rebate
$300 double dip credit via text once the phone was activated

Verizon actually paid me $300 to take their LG G4 phones. Also picked up an S6 and a Note 5 for nothing as well. All solid devices in my opinion and I hate Android based phones. They're slow, laggy and just hideous. Until now do they finally have their UI in order where it's lag free surprisingly. It might even be smoother than iOS and that's coming from an Apple fanboy!

As for the iPhone 7, my 6+ will be off contract finally and I'll be good for an upgrade. I'll end up picking up the 7 no questions asked and probably also will get the Note 6.

2 G4's, a S6, Note 5 and 6+. That's 5 phones. And add to that a 7 and a Note 6. You're either really into tech or have been ordering for the family:p.

So far I'm actually enjoying my G4. It's smooth (I must say Android Lolipop is better than I expected) great screen and camera and the LG skin isn't too bad. The Marshmellow update for it is already anounced. Replaceable battery and sd card is great too. Now I have to find a way to make it connect to my iMac. That's going to be a tough one. Glad I have Windows pc aswell.

I'm always interested in whatever they have coming down the pike, but as much as I'll be reading about the 7, I will NOT be replacing my 6s. This phone is a champ, unlike my 6 which was a dog right out of the gate in many ways. Whatever cool stuff is packed into the 7, I'll just keep reminding myself the 7s will be all that and a bag of chips. When looking back at the 6 and 6s, it's a pretty stark difference between them in regards to features and performance. My usually cycle alternates between a phone I keep for a short time, then one I keep for at least 2 years.

LG Optimus V - 2.5 years.
Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II 4G - 4 months or so.
Samsung Galaxy S3 - 2 years.
iPhone 6 - 1 year (I consider this short)
iPhone 6s - Plan is 2 or even 3 years, but I'll be satisfied to make it to 2.

I could very well be underestimating the iPhone 7's potential to suck me in. I will do my best to remain strong.

I am just glad i am on the number cycle. Although I did buy my 6+ at full price. Ill probably sell it before the 7 comes out and get into one of those programs the carriers offer. Ready for a fresh redesign

Chamfered edge looks so sexy... If it's painful to use, that's what we pay for looks.

Wow you get bored of your devices very quickly. As I remember you have started the same thread for 6, 5s, 5..... Been like 3 months since the 6s came out ...

Thanks for noticing.

I'll wait and see.

I'm trying to cut my habit of spending so much money every year for a new iPhone, even when factoring selling the prior gen model.
