12 more months and the wait for the 7S begins :)

Actually its about 9 more months. iPhone 7 will probably come out in Sept like they most always do, than the wait for the iPhone 7S will start....;)

The OP gets bored about 3 months post launch and starts a thread for a new phone, it's a trend :p

Nah, I like my 6S Plus way too much. Perfect phone for me. Can't quite think of reasons that'd make my experience with a phone any better. I plan on keeping this phone for at least two years.

Interesting thread.
Have owned almost every model of iPhone made and many Android devices too.
I upgraded from a 6+ to a 6S+ just for the RAM - work items tend to eat lots of it :D
My past favorite design - iPhone 5 Black. Since then it feels as if the iPhone design, hardware and software is reaching for an intangible "something" and missing it. I have grown to become less and less enamored with the iPhone over the past few years ... I suspect that if not needed for work and the amount invested in apps, I would have dropped. It is like more and more has been added to the point it has become a SAK with functions I will always question and say "why?" and never use.
I'm am really looking forward to the 7. That device will justify staying with the iPhone or dropping it.

Yes, I want a 7+ with 3D Touch, edge to edge screen, but significantly narrower, lighter, and thinner than 6s+ to replace my 6+.

I'm not, I don't particularly like selling my current phone, it just helps me justify the expense of a new iPhone.

Off topic, for those that do it, where/how do you guys sell your current iPhones when a new one comes out?

Phew.. It seems that it's not Apple to be blamed all the time for focusing so much on thinness..

Please remember that the more thinner and lighter you make the phone the lesser space is available inside for battery components. On top of that people also want the extra bezels to be removed..

Come on guys.. We can't get everything we want at the stroke of our imagination

Go get some real phone, like Moto X Pure and LG V10. These kills 6S any day, my iPhone 6S is collecting dust inside my drawer

Umm not really, iPhone 6S+ pretty much obliterated droid phones in speed tests. Phonebuff just posted a speed test where the 6S+ runs circles around Nexus 6P and that runs stock marshmellow 6.0

LOL...I can find other 100 video shows Android completely destory iPhone 6S. iPhone 6S isn't the king of the hill in terms of raw performance, camera quality, usability and most certainly bang of the buck.

I brought iPhone 6S at launch day, lots of my friends calls me Apple fanboy. I will continue my Apple product, but Android is just so much versatile than iOS.

iPhone 6S is fast, it is really fast. The speed is build upon all kinds of restriction and aggressive memory management. But iOS is the bottleneck.

Yeah.. I can do torrenting on Android, listen to podcast, browse internet and do many other things at same time, but I can hardly do any of these things on iOS. The raw performance of iPhone 6S is limited by iOS so much and it is frustrating

I always buy S series. Historically all the numbered models were having hardware flaws to some degrees

iPhone 4 Antennagate and severely underpowered.
iPhone 5 Color chipping
iPhone 6 Bendgate and severely underpowered.

The S models have the corresponding flaws fixed.

So always S series is the ones to buy. That means every 2 years.

Links? Show me a video of 6S being 'destroyed' by a droid phone? Even Nexus with its stock OS can't keep up not to mention Note where touchwiz purges apps from RAM like crazy.

As for the other things who cares? If I need to torrent or do any other things you described, I get on my laptop which actually runs desktop class software and blows away any phone or tablet in performance.

LOL... Seriously?

Tom Cook is one that claim iPad Pro can replace your PC yet it still runs iOS. I am not saying iPhone is not, it is fast. But iOS limits what iPhone and iPad could do. Seriously, if iOS do whatever Andriod can do, iOS probably will lag like crap. It is already runs like crap on older iPhone.

Look, this is 2015 and almost 2016. To claim only one thing at a time with smartphone does not make sense. Users want to do whatever they want and do multiple things at same time, but you can not do with iOS. If iOE ever close to Andriod, i would consider use iPhone again, but main while, my iPhone 6S is still turned off and set inside my drawer.

PS. I want you do this: go to some video sharing site, download or torrent some videos, then transfer to your iPhone. See how complicated it gets. You need download from your computer, connect with your iPhone witb iTunes, then transfer. Where can i directly download stuff and access right on my Android phone.

Let also see other senario: i am about to travel around and i would not have internet access for few days. I still have some shows want to watch. What you gonna do? I can just download the show, tranfer to USB or to MicroSD card, then use USB OTG or insert MicroSD card to my phone. Much eaiser than anything you can think of with iOS

BTW uTorrent got 100,000,000 installs. Clearly people are interested doing all these stuff on their phone/tablet. But you cannot do that with iPhone, LOL

Apparently you have no idea how new electronic complement consume less and less power for each generation.

New CPU, memory, controller, and accessories device will continue consume less power, and this is been reduce yearly. This improvement on power consumption reduction allow Apple and other company, one of them I work for, to continue design product smaller, but consume less power, yearly.

Don't believe me, find a friend in electronics device with CPU/memory design, with yearly product renew/improvement, and ask them about these question for power consumption reduction yearly.
