$509 for a vastly inferior two years old phone ? And your are happy ? o_O

Vastly superior doesn't correlate with everybody's viewpoints On what they want from an iPhone. Technically the 6S and 8+ have very similar features, but they are differentiated by speed and added capabilities, etc. But essentially, a phone does the same thing as all the others do, it's just a matter what somebody chooses to use with The functionality.

agree, but there is nothing a 6S can do and an 8 can't. So why keep the older phone ? 509$ isn't much less than an iPhone 8 price

14 days it's a story policy, but EU Law says you have 30 days for return to seller

Keeping my 8+. It’s more than perfect for what I need it right now and it’s in a case anyway.

How did anyone ever buy a phone with that "huge bezel". All these iPhone models that were for years the "best ever". People have bought millions, most popular phone ever, and now because they come out with a new phone with less of a bezel, now all the phones from years past have "Huge bezels". Oh boy...

Excellent post. No one harped on about bezels when the iPhone 6, 6S, 7 first came out. They were the best thing since sliced bread then! I’m so fed up of all these X buyers looking down on those of us with an 8/8+ or older. ‘Ugh, the bezels are huge!’ ‘I like it but the chin is massive!’ Bore off! It was good enough for you last year.

I honestly, honestly don’t care at all about bezels. It’s just a small section of the phone, if that bothers you so much then you must have a rather stress-free life. First world problems, eh?

Actually I like bezels when I'm using my iPhone in landscape orientation. I can keep it without touching the screen.

I thought I was the only one that like the bezels, especially for that reason.

I’m actually going to get an 8+ today, upgrading from my 7+. I thought a lot about getting the X but decided to stay with this design. I’m probably one of the few people that still love the look.

Normally I’m all about the latest iPhone, but this year I’ll sit out and wait for a bigger version next year. Besides, I’m sure by the time I get one in my hands it’ll be 5 months until the next gen phone comes out.

I gave my 7+ to my wife. She had the 6+ but it did not have the camera features the 7+ did, not to mention the storage. She had a 16gb model. My 7+ has 128gb. She loves it. I was happy with the 7+ as well. But after using the 6+ for a few days I picked up an 8+. Very nice phone. Faster than the 7+. Everything works seamlessly. Wireless charging ic cool. I could see walking into a room and just setting down all my Apple products to charge them wirelessly.

I agree. I have said in other threads that I think Apple products are a status thing to many people. That’s part or the reason they pay ridiculous prices for the products, and then talk down to others. I think $1000 plus for a phone is too much. Not because I “can’t afford it” or should “look elsewhere”, but because I feel passing the $1000 threshold is a line in the sand for me. Not to mention many of these “status” people will be making monthly payments for years to come to maintain that status. No thanks.

You surely are not alone.
Next year I will buy the iPhone 11 or whatever with its bezeless design and a refined FaceID.
But for this year I stay with the familiar design and feel I'm in love with.
