Mine’s just been wiped, back in the box and getting returned tomorrow after picking it up this afternoon. Was never certain I needed to upgrade but when I saw one in stock for in store pickup this morning, I decided to try it. Camera is nice, but usually only take pics when on vacation. For everything else, my 6S plus does everything i need a smartphone to do. (Calls, listening to podcasts or internet radio and looking up maps). No need to spend so much money right now.
You’re gonna have to do something with that 6s at some point! Lol.
As for the OP, absolutely not. I love my 11 Pro.

Got my 11 Pro Max Space Gray 256 in Friday afternoon. Definitely keeping it. Screen is gorgeous, love the camera, and battery.

no issues with the matte glass. I like it. Phone is just quality all around. Of course I put a Speck Presidio Pro. Add on for protection and I really like it.

Keeping my 11 pro 512 in green. A bit on the fence as my nearly 2-yr old X256 still works like a champ and looks so similar to my 11 pro. Decided to just give my X to my mum

My phone will be going back on my next upgrade in a year or two I am really happy with my Iphone 11 Pro Max just wish I had gone with a larger storage size but could not justify the cost difference from the 64GB

Returning it? are you mad? these are the best new iPhone features in a new release for a long time. Loving mine.

Boxed up and going back today. My pro max has a yellow screen that I’m struggling to live with especially when compared to the crisp white screen of my Xs max.
are you sure you don't have 'tru tone' enabled? this makes the contrast generally warmer...

I’m definitely keeping it. Huge evolution in the camera and that’s enough for me. Personally I love the green. Apparently I got lucky and got a good display.....

The Camera and Battery seem to the biggest leaps and are well worth the upgrade, IMO! A part of me is considering going from my XS Max to an 11 Pro Max, maybe in Christmas

No it’s definitely off! Spent the best part of yesterday comparing and adjusting display settings on the Xs max and pro max and at any given setting the pro is not as white, even when not next to the Xs max you can notice the display is quite yellow.

Keeping my iPhone Pro 256GB Space Grey! The battery life is phenomenal. Yesterday I used the phone almost non stop from when I woke up to going to bed and got over 12 hours of screen on time and 4 hrs of standby leaving me at just over 20%, the fast charger is also brilliant as it was charged back up in no time at all.

I like the matte glass on the back, I like the Space Grey colour more than ever before on this device and the size is almost perfect. I did want something slightly smaller, but I’m willing to make a compromise somewhere and the regular size Pro is as close to perfect as I could have hoped for.

Mine, thankfully has no screen issues or weird colour shift, and I think for those that might be underwhelmed by the camera at launch - remember that when Deep Fusion is introduced the quality should then improve drastically, as it will be stitching images together and adding more detail throughout. Currently it’s just using the camera hardware to produce the best shot, with very little software enhancements.

If you’re having an issue with a yellowish screen, check to see if “increase contrast” is turned on under accessibility. Somehow that was turned on and once turned off, the screen is comparable to my X.

My screen was damaged in the box, so I’m currently fighting with post sales support to arrange an exchange. I don’t live near an Apple store so I have to do it by mail, and they still haven’t sent me a mailing label to start the process (and had to transfer me to 4 departments because no one knew who would handle it, and one tried to say I’d need to use one of my Apple care replacements - Er...no).

So I have a pretty box I can look at but I haven’t even powered on the phone. Bummer. Definitely something that happened in the factory too.

Yay! I had to call back in but I just got my return email, and they are putting a rush request for the new handset AND are giving me a free leather case.

That's interesting. Mine was turned off, but I didn't realize the accessibility setting also have 'reduce white point' checked under 'display and text size'. I wouldn't have expected to find that setting there.

Returning an 11 Pro Max Midnight Green and keeping an 11 Pro Midnight Green (both 256GB). The Max is nice but I think too big, which puts too much strain on my hand. I have long fingers and even that doesn’t really help: it’s truly a 2-hand device. Also, the Max screen is a bit dingy and uneven compared to the smaller one. I can always buy another one, but I think that extra size is a deal breaker when you’re out and about.
First it was kinda bugging me that the regular Pro might not seem like a big change compared to my X. However, I should not be using the size change to justify this upgrade. I think the X/regular Pro is the sweet spot.
