went with an air case, heavily contemplated going with nothing but didn't want a ton of scratches. bought the leather apple case too but it was too bulky for my liking plus I didn't want to hide the design of the phone

Nada here. AppleCare plus and an Incipio for the trail (<3% of the time). One you go naked, it's hard to go back.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Currently rocking my 128gb Space Grey iPhone 6 completely in the buff.

Like some others, I also use the Caudabe Veil. It's like slapping on one of the super thin condoms. Feels almost as good as naked, but at least you're protected! :)

Anyway, I think we clearly can all agree that if you do use a case, it'd better be as invisible as possible. I just keep staring at my phone. What a work of art.

I'm going to definitely use a case with this phone. Got a free Apple leather case coming Monday. :D

It's $129 to repair a screen without AppleCare+ and $79 with AppleCare+.

2 repairs without AppleCare+ is $260.
2 repairs with $99 AppleCare+ is $260.

AppleCare+ saves you money if you break anything else.

I got a plastic Apple case for mine. Look at the was the edges of the screen beautifully curve down, like beaded up water. My take, another stupid Jony Ive form before function, thinness and beauty before durability wet dream design mistake.

Apple Care or not (I always get it) I definitely see a highly functional need for a case. Of course that could be rethought considering how hot the thing has been running but that is another subject for another thread.

With all my previous iPhones, I always had a screen protector and a range of cases. This iPhone 6 with a curve screen, however, is tempting me to carry it naked. It's impossible to find a dry-install screen protector or glass to hug a curved screen.

Those going naked you don't worry about scratches on the screen? I always worry mine will scratch going in and out of my purse.

Being a guy mine goes in my pocket and that's it. Nothing else goes in there. In your case, a purse, I'd get a decent case with screen protector.

With all my case and screen protector issues, just thinking about finally going naked. A little concerned with the screen in my pocket all day at work but it shouldn't scratch unless something harder than the glass gets to it, correct? Will buy AppleCare+

Naked, as usual.

Cases ruin the feel of the iPhone, especially with the iPhone 6 because of its curved glass. I'll never give up that feeling for some protection.

I usually go with invisible shield on th back to prevent scratches, but picked up the leather case and it feels great while keeping a slim profile. I still may try to only go with invisible shield eventually.

Yeah but with AppleCare+ I think you get a whole new device. So if you completely smash up your phone it's s great deal.

Plus, they do advance replacement which is really nice for people like me who need their phone every day but live over an hour away from an Apple Store

I've been a case whore since my first iPhone 3G, having spent as much on cases as the actual phones over the years I'm sure. But I love how the 6+ feels naked so much that I am loath to wrap it!! I'm also worried about it getting messed up, though, so I'll be looking for something very minimal soon.

If you like it you better put a case on it. Or you'll end up with this: Image

I love my phone, but after two years caseless, mine looks nothing like that. Sent from my iPad.

Never used a case, never cracked a screen. Never will use a case. Probably never will crack a screen.
