I got the Apple silicone case and I love it. It's awesome. It looks awesome it feels amazing. I just love it. And I dropped my phone last night . I set it on my pillow and as I reached down to pick the charger off the floor it slipped off. Damn near gave me a heart attack. But it was ok.

Leather has a nice feel and is soft. I have a thing against silicone, especially clear white silicone as after a long period of time, it yellows especially with exposure to sunlight, and a weird residue gets onto the device your covering it up with.

I hope you guys clean out the case daily. Little particles of debris will make your iPhone look worse than any iphone that's never been in a case.

I've never used a case since the 3G. I normally buy an Ikonic Edge leather pouch for when I'm traveling. It also double as a nice soft place to rest my iPhone on.

That ruined my iPod touch 4G 4 years ago. Out it in a case riht after opening and took out a few weeks later and  ! Scratched up! I guess some sand or dirt got in there and the case just rubbed it all around.

Thanks! I too had a case that nearly ruined my 4S to remove. I'm just babying my 6 right now, but that will pass. ;)

I've never liked cases, but the leather has a nice feel? I like it both nude and covered! I like to pick one or the other. Aww well. First world problems.

Anyone tried these leather sleeves yet? Joli Original Smooth Leather Case? Nice to have it out then just slide it in the case on the go

I actually think that'd make me drop it. Slipping it in and out while walking or rushing is when I'll drop it, but I rarly drop my phone. No jinx!

I have the spigen leather sleeve for my 5S and it's awesome best case I've had I'm looking for something for the 6 plus, I have the apple leather case now but looking for a good quality leather sleeve!

A few months ago I bought a Sony RX 100 M3 camera.....and one of my concerns was about protecting the LCD screen from scratches and such. People on DPR (Digital Preview) mentioned using a microfibre pouch such as which comes with many sunglasses or can be purchased separately. Hm.... So the next time I was in REI I checked things out and lo and behold they had these. I bought one and brought it home, and the camera fit perfectly into it. No weight or bulk added, yet protection for the screen if I had the camera in a bag or my pocket. Pretty cool....

Fast-forwarding to now and last night it occurred to me that maybe this would also work for my new iPhone 6 Plus.....

It sure does. The iPhone fits beautifully in this pouch, either alone or while wearing her Apple Leather case. Bingo! Another added protection -- this time, of course, for that screen, keeping it from being scratched by grit or crud in a pocket or bag. Most of my pockets are clean but in some situations I've worn pants in places where stuff could accumulate in a pocket, gritty stuff or crud which normally wouldn't matter or be noticed....until I stick my iPhone in there. Why take chances? So now along with my Apple leather case I've got this sunglasses pouch I got at REI for additional protection in situations where it might be warranted. I think the brand name of this microfiber pouch is "SunCloud," and it was only about $5.00 at REI. Not something to use when one needs to use the phone frequently or pull it out of a pocket in a hurry to respond to a call, but useful in situations where the environment where the iPhone will be temporarily stashed might not be optimal.....

For my iPhone 5s I used the Sena leather pouch/sleeve.....it did a great job of protecting both front and back of the phone while it was in my pocket or bag, but.....I found it a bit of a pain when the phone would ring and I'd be in a hurry to get the thing out of the pouch to see who was calling and to be able to respond in time. Also, yes, one time I was pulling the phone out of the pouch and it went flying out of my grip and landed on the hard tile floor of the store I was in at the time. Thankfully no damage done, but it was scary!

I decided that this time around, time for a different approach.....

Most of the time, just Apple Leather case, and then in situations where I am not sure about the pocket or bag into which I'm planning to put the iPhone (potential for grittiness, rough surface and scratching), then add the microfiber pouch. No way I'm using the pouch all the time, though!

My iPhone 4 was naked, my iPhone 5 was naked and my iPhone 6 will be naked. I mean, it will have a screen protector but no case.

Don't know much about Apple Care. Does it cover damage from phone drops and such? I hate cases but worry without them, and I do drop my phone from time to time. What would it cost for a 6? (I'm on verizon, and due for a phone upgrade now.)

My iPhone 6 Plus loves her Apple leather black jacket for going out and about, but now she's already asking for the brown one, too..... LOL!!!! Guess she wants to be color-coordinated for every occasion when she leaves the house.

ROTFL! ROTFL! ROTFL!!!!!

I love my phone and think it's gorgeous, but the first day I had the 6 it tried to commit suicide 3 times. It was leaping out of my hands and I have larger than average hands.

Partly because I found myself re gripping the phone to reach the corners, I kept nearly dropping it. So Saturday morning I went to the Apple Store and got a silicone case. Love it. Better grip, minimal bulk.

(Incidentally I checked out the iPhone Plus and the first 3 I saw had broken screens. In the Apple Store. In NYC. On day 2. While tethered to a table. They seem droppable).

Now let me ask you, how do you put it on? The picture on Apple's box shows you putting in the top of the phone and then clicking in the two corners. But this results in repeated rough pressing of the volume or the on off button.

I have a leather one coming... not sure if it offers that great of protection?

Anyone with a leather case want to share their thoughts?

Gee, I didn't pay much attention to the picture on the box the first time I put the case on the phone, as I was in a real hurry.....I just set the phone into the case, adjusted it a bit, gently pressed down and voila! She was in the case. I was really pleased and astonished after the hassles I'd had last year with the other leather case, the one for the iPhone 5/5s.

When later I wanted to remove the iPhone from the case, I instinctively went to the lower right corner first, released the phone there, then eventually went to the other side and released her there.....

After putting the phone into the case for the first time, I didn't think to check the volume controls or the on-off button. Later, when I had more time and could pay more attention to what I was doing both when removing the iPhone from the case and putting her back into it, I realized that it was a good idea to check the volume controls and the the on-off button as well as the silencer switch, too..... Not a big deal once I was aware of that.

Only Rich people would rock it naked. The rest of us need some kind of protection. I prefer the Speck Cases with the grips.

Every year my boss refuses to put anything on his phone and 365 days later. He turns it in and it looks like it went through a blender. And every year I hand him the new model and he goes on his merry way.

For those going naked, do you all worry about the phone resting on the camera lens? I like to rock it out free and wild but unlike the past iPhones there is a bump to worry about on the back

I might as well be. Only reason I added this "case" is to add some grip I suppose.

I have that same case, but in clear.

I usually start off with a case, but I usually end up taking it off especially since I have double coverage with insurance/warranty (theft/loss and accidental damage). I did have the case off for a couple hours yesterday and it felt nice. I also have screen protector, but it bugs me that it's 1-2mm small in width and it's so apparent when the screen is on.

I am,until my case arrives.
I was naked when I ordered it at 255am.
I am naked now.

TTIUWP :p

I have the six plus and rarely use 2 hands with my phone. I think the added size from a case would make it difficult to use with one hand all the time.
