Despite the keynote being an absolute joke, The new iPhones are only marginally better than the 5S. If you look at the comparison page on apple.com, they're mostly identical specs! LOL. I couldn't believe MANY specs were the same. 5S being on the right, iP6 on the left. I feel like there is noting new except screen size and software (which 5S users will get anyways) it will take decades for something like apple pay to catch on too. Skipping this one. And besides, those bands, albeit it for more connectivity, are UGLY. no way Steve would of allowed this junk to be released.

Another one of those "I'm justifying my older iPhone" threads because you might find something wrong with the newer one or the older one is enough for you. The 5s or anything before it is old news now. It isn't the premier flagship. Every year, technology improves. But every year, a thread like this emerges just for posters wanting to feel some reassurance for their outdated iPhone.

Not everyone is a sheep. I see that now apple is simply lagging in terms of innovation. My 5S is just as good as a 6. The Galaxy S5 even blows the new phones away and it's plastic!

Barring anything crazy or any accidents, I'll be rocking a 4S until August of 2015. I don't mind being behind, as I'd rather get a phone that has a lot of support, kinks ironed out, and is cheap. I'm sure it's blasphemy to most people on here, but owning the most current product is just not something in my priorities.

The Apple Pay is a differentiator as well. And it's not only the screen size it's the whole new look for Apple.

Most people will be adding a case to the phone.. so the argument about the bands will soon fade away. I remember people were up in arms about the two tone back of the iPhone 5 & 5s, until they used it.. And later that loud noise became rather silent

The iPhone 5S isn't outdated though. it isn't that much slower than the 6, and still gives alot of 2014 smartphones a run for it's money.

The biggest thing keeping me from upgrading to the 6 (from 4S) is that $199 only gets you 16GBs. A hundred extra dollars for acceptable storage and no microSD? No thanks.
