No. Always on, while nice to finally have, is not worth the upgrade cost alone to me. No other really compelling features.
I’m trying to decide if I should upgrade from my aging series 2 or hold out for next year...argh

I think if I had an aluminum watch I might have but with a SBSS S4 that I paid $750 and Apple is offering $110!!! for I will just wait for Series 6. I am torn if I should go to aluminum as I don't think I truly care about the SBSS vs. SG Aluminum look but I do care about the sapphire screen but $750 a year for yearly upgrades with only $110 (Apple) or maybe $250-300 on Ebay make it seem to frivolous even if I have the cash.
That would be an easier sell. I went from Series 0 to S4 last year. Night and day.
Ah ok. Ordered. Darn you! Haha.
Thanks, for a split second I was thinking of upgrading, but your thought process makes a whole lot of sense, as I'm in the exact same position. I love the sapphire screen, which I have without a protector and no worries about damage. And selling on eBay makes MUCH more sense, but I think I will wait for Series 6. I sold my Series 3 on eBay, got a great price, and was able to make someone else very happy.I think if I had an aluminum watch I might have but with a SBSS S4 that I paid $750 and Apple is offering $110!!! for I will just wait for Series 6. You will not regret it. It’ll be like an entirely different device.
My S4 still doesn’t do “spontaneous” Siri (i.e., raise to invoke) well, but it is an exceptional device in all other respects. If you’ve never experienced the Infograph face, you are in for a treat. You’ll never miss not having true Widgets on the phone.
Ahh awesome, you’ve got me excited!
I think it’ll be huge for sure coming from series 2.
Went with the aluminum space grey, 44mm

I am. I literally just was thinking while I was working out earlier how convenient it would be if the display was on so I could check my heart rate and time progress without flipping my wrist. No brainer for me.
