Why did I get texted an iCloud Keychain verification code?

    I am not aware of any action I took that possibly could have generated this. I do not use iCloud and was not signed in to Apple when this happened.

    Someone may be trying to connect to your iCloud drive. The verification codes are used to prevent unauthorized access.

    Thank you. But, I don't use iCloud. So, ???

    Plus, I CONTINUE to get these codes, the texts won't stop. Since I don't use iCloud, I have no use to for the codes :(

    iCloud Keychain verification is for the password saving feature in Safari and the like.

    You don't use that? It's under Settings -> iCloud -> Keychain.

    Usually I've seen it when setting up a new device, I can have it send a verification code. It's possible someone put your number in as their verification number, but I'd think they'd have to verify it the first time.

    It may be nothing, but if I were you I'd change my Apple ID password, just in case.
