Why did you pick Black or White for iPhone 5?

I had a black 3GS, black One X then picked up a bargain white MacBook and the week later a while iPod HiFi, went to the store and got a white iPhone so it all matches my gear and the cables. Plus I heard the black scratches much easier.
 
I ended up with both colors: bought a white one in December, then my job gave me a black one last month. Very grateful I have two separate lines.
 
I was in love with the black one and wanted a change. It was much nicer than the previous black iPhones.

I got really bored of it, and now have a white one lol
 
I was torn between the two....first got a black then gave it to a friend when they decided to upgrade to the 5 as Best Buy only had white iP5s at the time. Told him I was okay switching over to white.

Now after having both I prefer the white. I ended up getting a black/slate iPad Mini and still think I prefer white.
 
I had a Black iP5 on AT&T and Sprint. So, this time around... yep.. white! I think white looks more classy, while the black one looks badass :D
 
1 black and 1 white.... the first bought was black... it seemed more professional IMHO

Again what black or white have to do with gender? We are not talking pink here. Also what do you do with the included white earphones and charger? Guess you never had one of the early iPods or Macbooks, they where only available in white.
 
had black, lost it, got white because it was the cheapest replacement option from gazelle.

i like the white better. at first the black was great for apps that hadnt adapted their size from the 4 but now thats rare. the white does look... cleaner and nicer. i shoot a lot of video though and the black was great for keeping a low profile
 
I have had both. Once I got the black, I knew that I had made a mistake. I swapped for a white and am extremely happy.
 
I love the look of the white but I think I'd get sick of it after a while and the black looks more professional, IMO. Gotta keep my professional image neat & tidy.
 
Wasn't sure if I wanted black or white 5 and the TMobile sales girl said " oh but the white is soooo cute..... "

Left store with black one, and bc the white border was very distracting.
 
Black for hetero male, white for homo male. White for hetero female. Black for homo female.
 
Lets see: the black scuffs easily and is a fingerprint magnet. The white looks sexy as all hell, doesn't show fingerprints and doesn't scuff as easily.

Choice was pretty simple to me.
 
Maybe lack of choices? It's all Black and White to me...:eek:

I have a Black 16GB IP5 for personal in a Life Proof case, so you do not see it anyway.

I had my company give me a white IP5 16GB for work just so I had the best of both worlds, but moving forward I do hope they offer some different colors, but I think that will be reserved for the cheap iPhone.

Remember all the trouble they had producing white ones, I think color ones with Glass will be a a challenge
