iPhone Air Why do people like black iPhone colors?

It's the best colour. It's as simple as that.

I usually go with neutral colors on phones. Preferably white/silver or black if no other variants.

And then I can swap between different colored cases if I want to customize looks.

If I got a color, I would fear I would get tired of it. Always black for me except this year, Apple made me go silver.
