Why does iOS 8 require 5.7 GB of storage?

Yeah, for a company that claims "it just works" and adores a minimalist approach to things, selling a 16GB iPhone 6 is asinine. Customers will have to play janitor with their iPhone to pick & choose what to delete to make way for the iOS 9 update.
