Because its Apple. I remember the 3G did not have copy and paste. Every phone back in 2008 had copy and paste but not the iPhone.

I also remember reading in here of the Apple lovers who said copy and paste is not important on a phone. LOL.

Those Apple lovers will say anything to defend there precious purchase. Been a reader here since 2006 ish.

Sounds like what's been going on XDA and other Android forums, since 2009.
Who cares about lags??? Who cares about beautiful UI??? Who cares about thinness??? Who cares about good battery life??? Who cares about >300 PPI??? Who cares about good cameras??? Who cares about metal phones????

Of course they all changed their tunes when their beloved OEMs brought out those things. It's human nature. It's a bit rich to say only Apple users on Macrumors have it.

I use multi-view on my LG G3 whenever I use Pandora and my equalizer (Viper). It's handy adjusting my songs as I listen to them.

I also like the split screen on my g3. I also used our on my note 3. I don't use it all the time but it's very useful.

Must feel good to pay such a premium for less hardware (1 gb RAM, seriously??) and a less capable OS.

Yeah yeah yeah..... keep telling that tale because kids love it ;)

Btw, it's not that people have not used the "supper capable" other OS, and these trashy quad-core double RAM devices that suck. We live in the same planet, right? ;)

Split screen on the Samsung Galaxy S5 that I have used was a nightmare and I had to disable it.

Had it on my SG3-never used it
Had it on my Note 2-never used it
Had it on my LG G2-never used it

Not an android feature so apps have to support it and most of them don't.

You have a device thats almost 3 years old. Anything that old will lag and be slow besides multi window isn't intended for the GS3 (I own one) unless you hacked it it some way. Multi window on a Note 4 works seamlessly and yes it would be a desirable feature on a 6 Plus because of the screen size.

Like everything else since Ice Cream Sandwich ;) /s

I think this could be a great feature to have in iOS in the near future for iPads and larger iPhones (iPhone 6Plus). To e.g. use a webbrowser and e.g. Spotify at the same time (and see them both).

This is the number one feature that makes me have android envy!

I will jailbreak my phone for video pane which allows you to have this video window of whatever video and allows you to watch it from anywhere in your phone.

I hope apple releases it soon as it is something that would be very cool e.

I'm not sure Android has this feature either. I've used android for years and never noticed it. I think it might be Touch Wizz (Samsung) only.
