The best solution is not to use Firefox. I don’t understand why people have this compulsive need to use browsers other than Safari, which is the native browser on Apple devices. Safari is the safest and best possible browser to use on a Mac.
There’s plenty of reasons.no reason to not use firefox, or chrome, or brave, or... any browser one wants to use. same with email apps, all apps 🤷
you may have reasons; we don't all think the same way, have the same needs. why is that so hard for people to grasp? There’s plenty of reasons.
There’s plenty of reasons, like I said. When did I say we all have to have the same reasons against the same browsers?you may have reasons; we don't all think the same way, have the same needs. why is that so hard for people to grasp?
when did you say that you personally have reasons? (hmm, you didn't) 🤷There’s plenty of reasons, like I said. When did I say we all have to have the same reasons against the same browsers?
I said there are plenty of reasons. There *are* plenty of reasons. I wasn’t talking about myself.when did you say that you personally have reasons? (hmm, you didn't) 🤷
Also, there is no Firefox application in the Apple store. This is not user friendly.
Firefox would have to add their browser to the Mac App Store. I’m guessing they are fine with people downloading directly from their website.
the lack of a firefox in the app store is not an apple choice/problem its Firefox.
Firefox is not on the Mac App Store for the same reason Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, and many others are not on the Mac App Store - Apple's guidelines require web browsers distributed on the App Store to be built on Safari's WebKit layout engine instead of their own layout engines. The few browsers that are available on the Mac App Store (DuckDuckGo, Maxthon) are WebKit-based. For Firefox and others to ship with their own rendering engine they have to be manual downloads.Firefox (and Firefox focus) is on the App Store for all platforms, except macOS. Don't know why, but I'm guessing that this just because it has always been a manual download
then who are you speaking for (if not yourself)? and what about all the people using firefox, chrome, other email apps, office, etc? we use what we like, or need; it's fine to go outside of the walled garden... if we want.I said there are plenty of reasons. There *are* plenty of reasons. I wasn’t talking about myself.
I’m just speaking facts. I’m not arguing that everyone should use Safari. There’s reasons not to use Safari as well…then who are you speaking for (if not yourself)? and what about all the people using firefox, chrome, other email apps, office, etc? we use what we like, or need; it's fine to go outside of the walled garden... if we want.

opinions are not, in fact, facts... 🤷I’m just speaking facts.
I’m not stating an opinion. There are reasons (valid reasons, in fact) to not use any browser. That is a fact. What someone’s opinion is, is a fact. People have reasons for not using certain browsers. It’s not true that there’s no reason to not use [insert browser here].opinions are not, in fact, facts... 🤷
Firefox crashes every time MacBook sleeps. Also, there is no Firefox application in the Apple store. This is not user friendly.
