I just received my crashguard for my iPhone 7 (not plus) today and using it right now.
I am very suprised, its my first case from rhinoshield and feels very stable and from good quality.
I also like the grip, its slippery yes but its fine how it is, if it would be more matte grip, it would be harder to put in the pocket of jeans and it would get easier dust on.

Can definity recommand this bumper

Thanotec is starting a kickstarter for the new version of the k11. Seems like they listened to the issues they had in the 6 version and upgraded everything. I backed them on I and it will supposedly ship in January. If it works as well as it sounds like it should be pretty nice.

Kickstarter is for suckers and for those who love throwing away their money.

Here's Aaron the Ho's review in a prototype if you're interested:

Guys, I bid farewell to this thread as I have decided to return the CrashGuard And I'm officially done with finding the perfect bumper for the iPhone 7.

The CrashGuard was a nice lightweight bumper but I couldn't get used to the extra width. It made my 7 feel like a 7+. Just wasn't right for me but I'm sure others are quite content with the added width.

I ordered a Caseology Wavelength and along with my existing Spigen Liquid Armor case, that should be enough for me.

Maybe one day some company will make the perfect iPhone bumper once again.

Agreed. I have a CrashGuard for my 7 plus, and it's too cumbersome to use one-handed, as it makes the already wide 7 plus even wider.

I saw this and it looks pretty good but I wish they made it all one color.
The case Aaron reviewed was a prototype and not reflective of the color choices that will be available. They'll be offering the K11 in single color choices (black, silver, gold and rose gold). I'll be reviewing it in matte black for the 7 plus in a few weeks...

I may have found one... Ravnoo on Amazon. Sorry about photos. I only have my iphone 4 available... I also have a BSE simple glossy skin on the back. As you can see on the last photo, its somewhat coming up, but I have since remedied it. Pretty much no protection though. Looks hella sleek though.

So... 18 pages and still not a proper bumper, right? I wish Apple would make another bumper like they did with the iPhone 4. I previously used the K11 and hated it. Got dirty right away and I ended up scratching my phone because the grip ability was terrible.
CrashGuard is a fantastic bumper, but just not to some's taste.

i tried guesstimating the width it added to compare to cases readily available in bestbuy/apple store. But just like you i still found the apple leather to be the most consistent for people who want scratch and a little bit of drop protection in something that is not plastic or rubber. Silicon is way too sticky for me.

Only question is which color: Red (used for 5s and 6), saddle (will take some time to darken naturally), black (corporate boring choice), or gray (slightly less boring)

Anyone notice the price increase on the Rhinodheild on amazon in the U.K.?

I was going to get one to try but instead ordered an Apple leather case instead.

Is it just me or does that look exactly like the aluminum bumpers and variants you get on Amazon?

Go to the kickstarter site. In the large blue-green boxes six - eight of them show significant improvements over the last model and all the Chinese "COPIES" found on Amazon. So it is not "exactly" the same. It's very hard for original designers to compete when the great original design with the expense involved in that is just copied.

I got this one too knowing it's a knock off of all the aluminum bumpers on amazon. I got the mirror black to match my jet black phone. I had it on for about 4 hours and can't stand it. Will be returning it, it lacks a rubber lip and makes it slide everywhere and is in general flimsy and cheap, but hey $14 isn't bad.

Sadly, my favorite case for my plus has been the Spigen Liquid crystal... even though it's ugly as sin. I think bumpers just don't blend well with the curved iPhones anymore.
