I personally do not. That was my point though. Look at Apple's designs over the past five years, and what exactly do you have? In my opinion a lot of mediocrity.

And I'm surely not going to drop $2000+ on a notebook that I need to worry about overheating, or buying additional adapters for because someone decided to go entirely USB C. Hence why I bought a 2015 MBP a few weeks back.

That was precisely my point. A redesign would probably mean a thinner laptop. Which would either make overheating an issue, or worse performance due to throttling. But I guess people here will prefer that instead of just using the same "boring" design.

Guys - Apple is a business. Sales stagnate if they simply "do nothing" with the design.

Let's see what they come out with - I'm really hoping we will finally get Touch ID on one of these laptops!

Edit: Now seeing rumors that Apple is just going to "Sherlock" the apps that allow your iOS device to serve as Touch ID for your Mac. That solution we'll be "ok"...but only "ok" in the same way that Tethering for internet is. I really wish we could get onboard Touch ID & onboard Cell service on new MacBooks. I really enjoy my iPad having its own cell connection.
