Why no Apple cover for iPhone XR?

i doubt it. Probably apple just being their usual tight-mouthed self. I could see them letting out a “case model” without naming it. Also there were probably leaks from the factory.
Not really. Apple has dropped the ball on accessories for some time.
They launched the Apple Watch without a charger. They launched the no-headphone port iPhone without the AirPods being ready. They launched the wireless charging iPhones without a wireless charger. (Which, a year later, still isn’t here.)
They don’t make battery cases except for the iPhone 7, leaving money on the table for Mophie.
There’s no excuse for this. The phone size rumors of the XR have been out there for months.
How do so many 3rd party suppliers already have cases ready for the XR and Apple doesn’t?
No one can convincingly tell me the first trillion dollar company in the US doesn’t have enough resources to make their own cases for their own phones.
I’m starting to think this is them not wanting to make a case for their lower tier phone...which makes no sense, but is the only thing that makes sense.

I disagree. Some of the third party cases are as good as or better then Apple’s often at a fraction of the price. Apple’s cases are overpriced.

Again some of the third party cases are far better looking and quality then Apple’s and often don’t cost as much.
Some Examples.
Looking for a good/clean case. Something like the standard leather/silicone cases from apple.
I think the Best Good looking Cases are from Apple.
The Silicone and Leather Case still Works Perfect to the Design of the Phone.
There are some cases as good as Apples. But they are so hard to find and the ones I’ve found aren’t cheap. And to find them I have to buy a load of cases, then spend time sending back the ones (there have been lots) I don’t like. Its a real pain and I have better things to do!

No iPhone XR cases because Apple thinks that is best for some reason. Makes zero sense to me either. But I highly doubt a company as big as they are had some sort of case production issue. I think its more likely that somehow they feel they will either make more money releasing the cases later, or sell more phones based on the new colors out in the wild. But I’m sure ther is no production issue. Apple are marketing geniuses to a fault.
