I think you're nitpicking here, I'm not saying Android's fonts and icons suck, just merely stating that I prefer the ones of iOS. I don't think that's a crime.

Apparently it is if you're an Android fan. But, people are going to want to argue for self-gratification I suppose. Nothing you can do about it.

Here's why I love my iOS devices including my iPhone:

1. It works really well with my MBA and iPad.
2. There are more accessories to choose from.
3. I love the design and the overall feel.
4. iCloud. It's not perfect. It's not the best thing since sliced bread. But overall it works much better than anything else on the market. From Photostream to iTunes to my notes/calendar/reminders synced to documents in the cloud, it does all of this under 1 account.
5. I love the display. It's not some POS AMOLED with oversaturated colors. It's not PenTile.
6. I love iTunes Match. I buy music (yes, people actually do do this) and it's nice that all my devices automatically have it versus manually syncing or using an SD card.
7. iMessages! It's the modern version of BBM. I can read and send using any of my devices.
8. FaceTime just works.
9. The settings app is nicely organized. It's easy to find a setting.
10. Software updates aren't as rare as catching a leprechaun and his mythical pot of gold.
11.

I see the benefits of Android (I have a Nexus 4 for app development) and I love how hacker-friendly it is, but Phil Schiller spoke some truth when he said you don't need to sign in to 10 different services on Android to get the same functionality on iOS. If you don't use the native iOS features, this doesn't apply. But some people including myself do use these features and it's nice to have them built in instead of managing 10 different services/accounts. I liken this approach to people who buy cars and people who buy cars and tune/customize them to their liking. At the end of the day, both will get you from point A to point B. It's not the goal that is important, it's the journey.

What a joke!!! If you buy a car or marry someone do you need to go around and justify the reason for doing so? Right of the bat you already believe that there is a problem if you have to make a list to convince yourself and others.

I have a Samsung Note 2 and do not need to qualify my purchase to no one. My wife has an iPhone 5 and she does not need to convince anyone. I think by now we know what Apple and Android has to offer. If Apple was the best for me I would have gotten a iPhone 5. If Android was best for my wife she would have gotten an Android phone.

Just be satisfied with what you have.

The fact that you were compelled to post a "still rocks" thread is evidence Apple is slipping on the innovation and quality fronts.

But hey, keep your insecurities momentarily at bay with these postings if it helps you get through another day. Just try to see all those dents, dings, and scratches as 'added character'.

HAHA I was going to say the something basically. He tried to make himself feel better..
