It is the same price. some people don't know what Nike edition is.It’s the same price, isn’t it?
Yep, it’s that simple. As long as they have what you want. How easy/difficult is the exchange process? I got my Watch on Friday and am thinking about going in this Friday and exchanging it for the Nike model. Is it as simple as giving them my Series 4 back (which I’ve obviously been using) and just ringing up a Nike model?

You not liking the Nike watch faces is perfectly valid. But I personally feel the debate comes down to the Nike AW losing zero functionality and gaining a few, compared to the regular AW for the exact same price. The gained features are subjective but, again, you lose nothing.
Obviously, if you don't like the Nike bands at the same time as not caring for the Nike features, then it makes perfect sense to go with the regular AW.
And I'm not sure your point on the Nike watch face just being an advertisement for Nike. Maybe you don't, but plenty of people wear Nike/Reebok/Adidas/etc clothing with logos that are a lot more prevalent than a watch face but I wouldn't necessarily consider that as "advertising" for the brand.

Main one is that I don't believe a pure "exchange" resets the return clock -- a return/buy does gives a new 14 daysAny particular reason?
Nope you’ll be perfectly fine. You get 14 days from the date you received it.Ok cool. Only reason i'm worried they may not do it is because when I reserved my watch through the Apple Store app, I asked when I got to the store if I could change from my original reservation, so they exchanged my first choice for my second. Wonder if that counts as an exchange.
I still have another week to return so it doesn’t matter, but I have a feeling they’ll have them.

Also, it's a little bit cleaner for any credit card protection programs such as theft/damage protection as well as credit card extended warranty programs
Am I the only one who think it's kind of silly (and kind of rude) to purchase the regular S4, just to exchange it with the Nike S4 2 weeks later? I wanted the Nike edition, so that's the one I preordered. It's only a 2 week wait. Seems like unnecessary hassle and you potentially prevent someone who really wants the regular S4 from getting it on launch day.
Understandable. I just feel that since many people are preordering at 3am, many times it's a matter of minutes until the shipping dates begin to slip. If someone preorders an S4 knowing they're just going to return it 2 weeks later for the Nike edition, then it's quite possible someone else who was up preordering and wants the regular S4 may get a later shipping date. Not very cool, IMO.To be fair, I walked into a store this past Friday and purchased one. Several of the models were in stock at my store so I didn't "prevent" anyone from getting one. But either way, no one's really "preventing" anyone from getting anything. If I had preordered, I would've made an effort to get up at a certain time to get a preorder in. If someone really wanted a watch too, they would've done the same, and if they got their order in on time, then great, if not, then they wait, and the same could've happened with me. We're all entitled to 14 days to exchange/return.
Personally I never really considered it until I saw all the face options and thought about the bands. It seems like a better deal honestly

In your case though, your situation is a bit different and I wish you the best of luck with your swap!
I've seen on other threads both here and on Reddit where a number of users specifically purchased the regular S4 knowing they were just going to return it 2 weeks later. So unfortunately, it happens.Well I'm not so sure people are preordering the regular S4 knowing full well they will be swapping it 2 weeks later (which isn't necessarily guaranteed given whether there's stock or not). I was planning to stick with the regular S4 and didn't even consider the Nike model until I saw this thread and then saw the watch faces on Apple's website; I already knew I wanted one of the new reflective bands. It's kind of something I thought about after the fact, which I'd imagine is the case more often than not.
What you describe sounds like it was performed in the system as a return-and-separate-purchase transaction, thereby resetting the timeframe. When I exchanged my series 3 last year, my new receipt showed a return and a new purchase paid with "online credit". I believe the return window is reset, but you might be right about the credit card protection... I'm not sure how that would work.
Is it true the Nike club complications can't be removed. So anytime I have complications one will always be the Nike one on my screen.
The other ones are regular and i can put any complicationFor the two Nike specific faces, yes.
Yes.The other ones are regular and i can put any complication

Are you sure? I'm looking at one of my Nike watch faces. I have Weather Conditions in the top left, Activity in the top right and nothing on the bottom.
Perhaps it's because I've uninstalled the Nike+ Run Club app?
So can the run club app be deleted from the watch or no?
