I ordered a new ibook that is scheduled to be here around thursday. If/when the new ibooks get updated, will i be able to trade up, or somehow get my money's worth, (Not that i am not happy w/ my purchase anyway) or am i out of luck?

Your monitor has to be HD capable, which the 15 incher is not. Out it too a 23 or 30 inch ACD and that will be HD...MacH4X0r said:I'm still upset I can't play HD on my 1.67 15" albook,

Ive heard updates to the powerbook line would be lackluster until intel, leading me to believe Ive made the right choice in ordering now...i am having my second thoughts, however...
nsjoker said:how is this even possible? unless they keep same specs but new enclosure.. other than that and it'll wreck powerbook sales. if they put a 64 mb vcard, standardize 512 mb ram, and give it a speed bump that'll be the death the pbook this year.
berkleeboy210 said:I'm having 2nd thoughts too. I just ordered 15" 1.67 Today, If and when the iBooks get updated, I think i might plan on using the 15" PB as my main computer, and get an Apple LCD Display for it, and use the widescreen iBook as my portable Mac. Heck, if you got money to burn do that, that's what I'm doing.
QCassidy352 said:Um, why would you have a 15" PB that doesn't move from your desk? If you're going to have two computers, make one a real desktop - MUCH more bang for your buck.

They were sued for refusing to reveal who leaked the Mac Mini announcement. I don't know if they were sued prior to that or not.AcousticDoc said:I'm new to apple. Can anyone here summarize wha thappened to them? What product did they reveal?
SpaceMagic
If Apple bring out a 13.1" Widescreen iBook, I'll press One-Click buy within the hour of release.
djkny said:I wouldn't. Maybe on a 15.4" PowerBook MacTel.
