Playing through Deus Ex human revolution for a third time on Wii U.

Observations.

It's graphically superior to PS3 / 360 versions offering increased resolution and better frame rate. And just below the PC version in that it doesn't offer as much anti-aliasing filtering.

I like the touchscreen for all the hacking however.

Awesome! Now that Watchdogs is delayed, I'm going to pick this up.

Can you play the Windwaker HD on the remote-only (of course that would be like an unneeded commodity but still)?

I don't know why but I damn the day I saw the HD version on youtube (few days ago). Before that the Wii U was outside the radar and now I'm checking eBay and Amazon and just trying not to click the button.

I personally don't see myself playing any "for other consoles also" games, because I already have the PS3 and will get the PS4, but the idea of finally properly playing all Zeldas comes to mind (I used to have a Wii a long time ago but that didn't last), specially the re-masterized version.

I think even the 8 GB version should suffice, too bad it's white.

Yep you can play windwaker on game pad screen only.

^What he said. It looks beautiful on the small screen, with the dense pixels.

But I find it better to play on the big screen and use the touchpad to more easily cycle through my grappling hook, boomerang, or bottle, etc!

It was cheaper on the last steam sale :p

That (buying it on Steam for PC) would make it hard for me to use my Wii U gamepad to augment reality, though;)

If they re-wrote it to take special advantage of the Wii U hardware (which they did) I don't mind spending a little extra.

Wii Fit U is out today! Really enjoying it so far - the save data transfer from Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus takes a few seconds, will have more thoughts as I get into it, but my exploration of what is in there has me excited :)

Did you get the tracker / pedometer thingy? how does it work / what exactly does it do?

I did don't have time to type thoughts now - except to say it is a really solid product and I'm enjoying using it more than my Fitbit One.

I made a quick video last night going over my day 1 data with the device and some thoughts about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AsnLsyWRfY

ToysRUs seems to be the only place to find these right now.

Nice, although I wish I had waited until this year before picking up the Wii U. I probably would've made a more informed decision.

Just got my Wii U Fit Meter, so I downloaded the new Wii Fit U, ran it, synced up my old Wii Fit Board and then the Wii U Fit Meter, and everything seemed to work as advertised!

Of course, I have to start walking around now (can't really do that while surfin' the interwebs).

But, this is a great deal! The Wii U Fit Meter was only $20 on Amazon, and now I get the whole Wii Fit U free...that's a pretty nifty deal from Nintendo.

The Core Luge game looks worth the price of admission, just by itself. Holy cow, it is a lot of fun, and my stomach hurts (and I regularly do my P90 stuff...).

Yea I've put in over 20 hours since its launch 16 days ago and feel a major difference in my fitness level. It does a great job of working all areas of your body if you use the trainer. So I can feel my legs, arms, abs and other parts of my body improving equally. If you actually try and go activity to activity automatically you will work up a sweat and get a good workout.

The brilliant thing about Wii Fit U is that it does so many things to get you in it everyday. The hard part about exercise for me has always been to simply start. Once I start I want to do more and more of it, but getting to that first workout everyday is the hard part. The Fit Meter gets me into the application to sync it and it is just a click away from trying some non scary exercise and then an hour later I've had a great workout. It being a digital game also makes it so easy to open up.

Wii Fit U really is quite awesome and I can't wait to see a year from now how much weight I've lost and how much better in shape I'll be - it is rather exciting.

hehe, must admit that I quite enjoy the latest CoD on my U. Even the over the top campaign is really entertaining. Online was fun too. Now waiting for Mario3d - reviews made me interested again.

Yeah, i didnt care much for the new mario until i started seeing the glowing reviews for it

I'll be going to the midnight launch for the Xbox One to pickup my copy of Super Mario 3D World and the new limited edition Zelda 3DS XL Bundle :)

Curious if I'll be the only Nintendo guy doing this ...

Are they coming out the same day as XB1? I guess if you're already there and the store is already open and they are out on the shelf as well... ;)

Man, Gamestop and Bestbuy are going to have a great Midnight opening... :D

Are you buying all three? I'd hate to see the final amount on your receipt...

Mario 3D on the Wii U on the couch, and the Zelda 3DS XL when you're climbing in bed, at around 5am...

;)

Haha - I'll be playing Mario until I pass out :) - Zelda I want to do when I'm more awake

I'll be picking up Mario 3D World ($60) and the Zelda 3DS XL ($220).

I don't have any interest in the Xbox One. I am taking a vacation day on Friday and want to have my Nintendo games and hardware as soon as possible to kickstart this awesome weekend.

GameStop and BestBuy are okaying Nintendo folks to pick up their stuff as long as they preordered.
