I'm leaning toward the 7S+ at the launch. Hopefully I can get it via some trade in promotion from T-Mobile and then after one year upgrade to an 8 or 8S even.

I prefer the shape of the screen on the plus; rectangular and a more useful aspect ratio.

That's my main concern, apps in landscape mode will look better on the 7s+
We don't have an upgrade program yet in my country so I'll wait and see if they launch it alongside the new iPhone next month.
With the UP I'd probably buy the 7s+ so it will be available immediately and enjoy the dual camera and the new faster processor, then next year I'll update to the bezel-free model, I imagine it won't be so hard to get like the one they're launching next month.
Without the UP I may wait another year and keep my 6s, I'd really like to move to the bigger screen but I don't feel like buying the 7s+ mid tier outright and then lose money next year by selling it to buy the bezel free model.

I probably will, reasons being:
1. I much prefer Touch ID over having to use facial recognition
2. While the 8 will have a bigger screen, it won't have as much useable space compared the plus
3. Price. I like to upgrade my phones, so I'd rather save a bit on something that will be upgraded in a couple of years.
