I avoid the orders page. You know why? There are two big "CANCEL" buttons there and I like coffee. I'll watch here. When things start moving, I am sure I'll hear about it

It's true. Those cancel buttons scare me. I'm afraid of them, as there's no way back from them.

They seem to stare at you temping you. Almost asking you to cancel, as there are so many others waiting to take your place...mercilessly.

The Apple Store app is safe — you'd have to click "visit our website" to cancel items.

Just like a broken clock is correct twice a day, the thread title will eventually be true.

(I was going to say a broken watch is correct twice a day, but that's not true of the Apple Watch...)

This is actually funny.

Anyone think we will see updates this weekend?

Of course there have been a million threads on this, so why not add one more right?

Anyone else thinking we should start seeing ship date updates this weekend? I have been checking mine daily several times I will sadly admit, but today through Sunday I know I will be checking non stop to see if my 4/24-5/8 dates changes to MAYBE 4/24 since I did order within the first 35 seconds the app went live.

I would imagine those of us who purchased within the first minute or so (2:02 AM CST for me) would start seeing something between now and Monday. However it also wouldn't shock me if we didn't see anything official until the day before it arrives

Yeah my confirmation emailed arrived at 3:02am Eastern time on the 10th, so I was excited to be within the first 1 minute which I do hope equates to launch day box at my door :p

I will be so gutted if it doesn't come on the 24th:(

I desperately need my delivery estimate to be narrowed down so i know whether to change my delivery address or not

Mine arrived at 3:01.

You were in the second minute :p

Good info, I accidentally canceled a computer order once on the website as it took only one click on the cancel button, no "are you sure" and the order was cancelled. Don't ask.

BTW, does anyone know if Touch ID is supposed to work in the iOS app to view account/order info? I can make purchases but have to enter my password to get into my order status. Seems odd.

I am reading other places that the watch is in very short supply and there will be many dissapointed people. It will be late summer before some orders are filled.

Please post a link to these articles. I am seriously interested in reading them. I haven't seen one thing about late summer delivery for any orders that have been placed. I can still order today and have an early summer delivery.

I say they the order will be updated later today

I reckon so too. Just been looking back at my old posts from the iPhone 5 launch and it went into preparing for shipment on the 14th, dispatched on the 19th and delivered on the 21st.
All I can see of mine from the iPhone 6 launch was that it changed to dispatched two days before delivery.
So, I'm saying status changes late today/early tomorrow to 'preparing,' then dispatch notifications on Wednesday for delivery on Friday.

At least, I can hope.

My iPhone 6+ changed to dispatch 6 days before release so I'm guessing if it doesn't change by tomorrow then it's not coming on friday :(

I received my shipment notification 1 day before my 6+ was delivered. It left China on 09/17/14 and arrived at my doorstep on 09/19/14. Apple didn't even send the email notification until 09/18/14. I think we better be ready for a rocky ride for these deliveries ladies and gents.

I don't believe that the watches are in warehouses in the States. Most likely, they're being prepared or will be prepared to ship from China. At this moment it is 11:59 pm in China. I don't know work their hours, but it's pretty darn late there.

If mine is being delivered Friday I am not expecting any notifications until the beginning of next week. I think today and tomorrow is entirely too early.

thumbing back to my post about the I6+ shipments. i got shipping notification on Sept 20th, and i had my phone on Sept 22nd. if apple goes the same route, it will be another 5 days before i get sometime of shipping info.

what do you think?

Didn't you guys get the memo? It's build to order and Apple is now building number 123,321. Not too much longer to wait....

Wouldn't you get a 'preparing for shipping/despatch' status update first before you get the shipped/despatched notice? I'm hoping it changes today or the new few days and shows a date of 24th.

This wait is killing me !!
