Wouldn't you get a 'preparing for shipping/despatch' status update first before you get the shipped/despatched notice? I'm hoping it changes today or the new few days and shows a date of 24th.

Not necessarily. I've seen orders skip the 'preparing' status before. Although, this is a longer wait than usual for a pre-launch so who knows. It's anyone's guess.

And me too. The wait is torture, but strangely I think it will make me appreciate the watch more when I get it as opposed to getting it the next day.

Not always. For my 5S I got a shipment notice AFTER the phone was already delivered to my home.

I think 7 months is long enough to wait for a product but get where you're coming from

for the iphone i DIDNT, it went from Processing straight to having a tracking.
i can't speak for anyone else. but it drove me INSANE FOR 10 DAYS

i actually think it's best to check your apple support profile. My iPhones usually have shown up there first before preparing to ship or UPS notification. i know it doesn't help in terms of tracking, but it is a good indication that your watch is coming soon. Also its fun to read into the serial num to see what week it was made and so forth.

You can't change your delivery address anyway. Apple won't let you. I tried. It's a strict policy.

I expect they'll be updated on Wednesday the 22nd. Since two days before is when we were notified of the iPhone 6 shipments.

I came in and suggested to everyone that ship indication dates will not change until next week -- most likely Tuesday or Wednesday.

This is based upon many years of preorder experience. It's always the same.

Some arrogant jerk felt the need to come in and write "YOU ARE DEAD WRONG" and that shipping statements would have changed yesterday -- which we now know they did not.

So, basically making the arrogant jerk eat some crow for being so hostile in his response.

Shipping statuses have never changed on a Friday.

Think about it; normally the preorder day is on a Friday and the product would launch the next Friday. Nobody has ever gotten a shipped notice the same day they preordered.

Shipping statuses won't change until Monday-Wednesday of the week of release, like it is every year.

Not true. I have worked in the banking sector for 15 years. The next status will be 'preparing to ship', then the money would be taken, and then it would be updated to 'shipped'.
