Will.i.am Introduces iPhone Camera Accessory with Slide-Out Keyboard

If Apple ever made anything with gold bling that would be the time to really worry about the company.

I have a panoply of old cameras from the 30s to 80s and none of them are trimmed in gold, faux or otherwise. They are either all black, all aluminum (a minox sub-minature), or black with chrome or aluminum trim.
Getting past that, who is this accessory for? It's bulkier than a decent pocket cam and guess it weights similar. Are their that many Black Eyed Peas groupies to make this profitable? I'd joke that maybe it can see-through Fergie's costumes, but then again, so can my naked eyes.

Those are all really horrible; I cannot understand why people are so eager to give that talentless idiot the chance to design things when he clearly has no skill at it whatsoever.
And those prices?! You're paying nearly half again the price of the actual phone to add a clunky, horrible looking attachment of dubious value? If you need a better camera, get a proper camera. If you need a keyboard gizmo then get one of the larger ones that's actually better to type on. This add-on gives you a slightly better camera that won't outperform dedicated ones that are the same price, and gives you a dinky little keyboard that will be harder to use than the on-screen one; you're paying a lot of money to gain features of little or no value and a new aesthetic with zero appeal, all so will.i.am can cash in on a name that not only isn't original but only highlights the fact that he can punctuate properly… =/

The show idea could be interesting, provided they are judged totally on their ideas and not some lame personality crap. But the rest is questionable. Having ideas is one thing, having good ones is another. And if this is a sign of his ideas, they aren't all winners

Reminds of the show chop shop. They took normal cars and turned them into things like that.
I don't really have anything specific to say to either of you, I just wanted your avatars to touch - I thought maybe it would create sparks or something, or my keyboard would catch on fire.
Staying on topic, the uglier one (with gold, though I'm sure that's totally obvious to everyone) has two big rings to hook it to a strap of some sort - or perhaps a big gold chain so you hang it around your neck with style.
