Like NFC and fingerprint scan? Or is it even possible that the 5S only get better camera and faster processor? Can we at least be assured that Tim Cook will do the right thing? What about larger iPhone and cheaper iPhone?

Instead of finger scan I'm hoping iOS7 has face recognition so you just have to look at you iPhone to unlock it.

I doubt that it's going to be a big spec jump in terms of CPU and GPU.

It'll probably go from SGX543MP3 to SGX544MP3. The 6 series of PowerVR are not available yet as far as I know.

As for the CPU, I don't even know. Isn't the iPhone 5's CPU based on A15? Maybe they'll offer a quad core model instead of dual core.

I hope they'll bump up the RAM to 2GB.

Maybe the storage will go up to 128GB with 32GB being a minimum.

I expect the camera go to up to 13MP. Galaxy S4's camera beats iPhone 5 convincingly, so Apple has to catch up.

As for the killer feature, frankly there isn't anything they could do that hasn't already been done on Android. NFC, finger printer reader, temp sensor, etc... it has already been done.

Maybe if it works MUCH better than Android's try...At first it was cool, but quickly became a gimmick. (Slow and buggy).

As for camera, how about an 8MP Ultrapixel camera? 13MP isnt nearly as useful as 8MP on a massive sensor.

QUADcore might be nice for powering RSS widgets. I like scrolling through news articles when bored. A QUADcore with 2GB RAM would be perfect.

Larger iPhone? Buy an iPad, the iPhone 5 is large enough

If they would just put a Phone App in the a Retina iPad Mini, I'd consider just getting that. Between the Ford SYNC system in my car, and use at home, I very rarely hold my iPhone to my head anymore.

For times when I need to take a call privately, I can just use the included headset.

I don't know, have you seen HTC One samples? They are horrible!

I'd prefer Nokia's PureView tech of lots of pixel binning. Although PureView and UltraPixel seem to be pretty much the same, in practice 808 blows the One away.

I suspect the pixels will keep going up and eventually they'll start binning them into 5-8 MP photos.

They're not going to bump the RAM up to 2GB. Its usually two generations before a spec bump so iPhone 6 will get the 2GB, iPhone 5 got 1GB, and iPhone 4 got 512MB RAM.

Doubt they're moving 32GB to minimum, even Samsung isn't doing it. 128GB is just too big for a phone, makes sense for Apple to do it for the iPad since the Surface has a 128GB mdoel.

Yeah, it has the cool feature all iPhones have. It's call the 'Schlepp Activator'. What is does is, no matter what iPhone you currently have, it creates a deep, internal need in the user to purchase the latest iPhone regardless of your financial status, lack of features or any other logical reason you should purchase the phone. Once activated the user instantly find major flaws in his/her current device and will at the same time only see positive aspects in the latest device.

Improved Battery Life

Amazing Battery Life. Maybe since this is a 's' phone, Apple might not have any new features besides a better chip and better camera. So, maybe they might take this opportunity to improve the dismal battery life found on smartphones and double the battery life of the iPhone 5. The battery is probably the only feature I am disappointed in in the iPhone 5. Do you think this is feasible?

I don't think so... That phone will not sell very well in 2013

As a travel/street photographer who switched to the iPhone as his main camera of choice when on the road....I'm really looking forward to the rumored 13mp camera. The iphone 5 camera is great, but improving its lowlight capabilities and overall detail & quality is always a good thing. Heck, if Apple just updated the camera and the processor in the 5s, I wouldn't complain.

Having said that, the fingerprint thing would be cool too. Lol.

All smartphone batteries suck. Think about it, you're carrying a 4" laptop in your pocket. It's bound to suck juice. Speaking of juice, just get the Mophie juicepak case for the iPhone and you'll double the batt life. Problem solved. :)

So do you think iPhone 5s will comes in different colors? In fact, Pink is wonderful, lovely colors for females. :D

Nah. Not for the iPhone. Maybe for the cheaper iphone that is rumored for the fall. I can see them going with a multi colored theme for that line, but not the main iphone. They'll keep that one classy. ;-)

2) improved camera. hardware wise as well as software wise
3) support for more LTE bands. possibly a single world phone model
4) ios7 with tons of new features and improved apps
5) better cpu/gpu

sounds like catchup to me

iOS 7 will have a "killer" feature that will only run on the iPhone 5S. Just like Siri only worked on the 4S.

Historically speaking, the 'S' models get a major software update. The regular models (4, 5, 6, etc) get a hardware update.

Although its not really a "killer feature". I would like to see a better Notifications LED. Rather then using the Camera Flash LED, maybe Apple can incorporate it into the home button.

Have the little square light up as you have different notifications. I think 3 colors are more then reasonable.

Red = Missed Call
Blue = New Email
Green = New SMS

I would be happy with that.

What do you guys think?
