The 8 and 8 Plus designs are dead. Flagship Android handsets and the X have left those in the dust.
Do you have the regular iPhone 8? If so, why did you choose that one over the Plus/X?Or is this design done? I love my iPhone 8 so I would get an iPhone 9 prolly.

Incorrect. The design never died. Proof? Sales of 8 and 8plus.Nope. That design was dead as soon as the X was released. No longer needed.
The Plus is too big to handle. I prefer 1 handed use.
I skipped the X for safety reasons.
Who knows for sure? Did anyone think that the 5/5s design would return after the 6 came out? It may never be used for a flagship model again, but it could be used again for a "budget" iPhone.
The bottom line is that anything that anyone here says is just a guess.
Considering the slow sales of the 8, that form factor is done.
What do you mean by safety reasons?
I party a lot. Sometimes I have to walk on sketchy sidewalks to get to my car or a late night bite to eat. Sometimes these areas are very, very sketchy.
A good source has told me the iphone 9 will be in SE form with edge to edge OLED screen, Iphone X will add a + and Iphone 8 will keep the 4.7 and +.
I'm sure your answer makes sense to you. I'm still scratching my head over it though. How do sketchy areas and the iPhone X = safety issues?
Seems to me the iPhone X is not the problem in this equation, but to each their own I guess... Stay safe.iPhone X is hot right now. Hard to get. Everyone’s goo goo gah gah.
My iPhone 8 looks like any other iPhone basically.
Someone sketch might see I got the latest and greatest and snatch it or something
