Will Mail.app continue to load emails/notifications if minimized by clicking either the red or yellow button (does make difference with red/yellow)?

When minimized by clicking wither yellow/red button (still active on desktop), seems like mail.app does not load new messages or send notifications.

Do you have to keep mail.app open present on desktop to load?

As long as you don’t close the app completely, it will still show new email notifications etc.

Yes. No difference to that behavior if you minimize or close the window as long as the app as a whole is running. I tend to cmd+H it
