Will my girlfriend be able to unlock my iPhone X if I’m asleep ?

If your girlfriend is the kind of person who would do that then I would suggest not getting more serious with her and dumping her before it gets to that point.

Yes, if you train her face for it just as with Touch ID training.
I’ll be setting the wife up on mine, nothing to hide from her, she knows what I’m like :D

If you are this concerned about her while you are sleeping, her getting into your iPhone is the least of your worries.

I have come to conclusion to wear sunglasses before I go to sleep. I’ll explain to her I need prescription glasses to sleep

I think you can only have one face in it

Really? That surprises me. Admittedly it’s one area I haven’t spent too much time looking into as I’m only really bothered about my own noggin. But I’d have thought they’d make it similar to Touch ID in that regard.

Not to worry, the wife knows my pin code anyway so if push comes to shove she can just use that instead.

If you happen to be intoxicated on New Year's Eve or whatever, maybe.

The faster and convenient Face ID is, the easier for her to invade your privacy.

It’s always rang true in my relationships. If you’re that worried about someone seeing what’s in your phone then you have something to hide. Every time my partners have been secretive with their phones, the truth always came through. And it always hurt me in the end because of what they were up to behind my back.

If you don’t have anything to hide, then let her have your passcode. If she knows you don’t care about her seeing what’s on your phone I guarantee you that she won’t go prying.

...genetically cloned science freaks then.

Chiming in to say that identical twins are the most clonish clones of all. They come from the same egg, have the same genetic sequence top to bottom. Genes aren't the sole determinate of phenotype. Environment and the happenstance nature of hormone gradients during development can push the outcome around a little bit. I'd be interested in seeing if the FaceID could detect the subtle diffs between identical twins.

um no it is a sign of trust

No don't worry. She won't catch you cheating from that.

But if your really paranoid (like me), set up a hidden video camera. It's amazing what those things uncover.

My wife likes to mess with my fantasy football lineup! Never

um yes it is a sign of trust to let your SO have access.

My wife doesn't have a passcode on her 5C phone (for convenience's sake, I guess) and she's got at least one or two TouchID spaces on my SE.

It'd be nice to have both her face and mine available to use FaceID, but I suppose we'll get by with sharing the passcode.
