I understand you guys think its 18 and I understand your reasons but I have called THREE AT&T stores and they all told me I can do it without my parent present even though I'm 17. I've also talked online to a CSR and they said the same thing, to make sure I have their social and my ID and I will be fine and walk out with my new iPhone no problem.

Yay, i have officially converted someone to understand this!

Thank you :)
I understand, but my mom just called the local AT&T store and they also said as long as Im an authorized user it doesnt matter how old I am... by the owner of the account making you an Authorized User they take responsibility for the contract, making it fine for a minor to sign the contract because they already have the consent of an adult to do so.

P.S. Dont yell at me... thats straight from the horses mouth.

You are correct, I spoke with TWO AT&T store managers in my local area and they both said I will be fine. They said if there is any problems to ask for the manager and they will get me out with my new iPhone :)
