iPad Will NOT buy iPad 5 if it has iOS 7 on it

These threads are getting tired. Can we create a separate forum for whiners and send them all there?

iOS 7 is the way forward. Like it or not, there's nothing you can do about this. If you don't want iOS 7, may I suggest an Android tablet for your next device.

There are things I dislike about iOS 7 as well, but there's really nothing we can do about it. I'm certain some of them will be fixed with 7.1. Just chillax and knock it off with these threads. Unless they are trolling, in which case I apologize for adding to the buffet.
 
you can't possibly expect them to ship their newest products without their latest operating system. If you won't buy it you won't buy it, do you announce everything you won't buy?

Hang on. Inappropriate as it would still be to announce your no-buy logic to the world, your Siberian tiger rationale still makes good sense.

So how about, "I'm not buying a BMW because the CEO of BMW was born on a Wednesday - and I have this thing about Wednesdays"?

#FirstWorldProblems The icons in my OS are so terrible that I will come to a forum and tell everyone that I refuse to buy a new iPad, even though I will more than likely order one when preorders open.

Honestly, get over it. You will never get iOS 6 back, and you are the minority. Android and Windows 8.1 may be better options for you.

First of all, disagreeing with you != being a fanboy. Calling people a fanboy is not only rude, but against the rules.

You aren't going to get it, and I doubt anyone's going to want to help you with an attitude like that ;).

How can one NOT get an attitude when the majority of the posts in my thread are garbage and completely pointless?

If I had a dime for every time I broke the rules here, I could probably retire very early. ;)

Pretty ridiculous. iOS 7 rocks, imho. Sorry you dislike it. You might be right not to upgrade your iPad 3 to it, depending on how well it runs, but I'm finding it to be sublime on my 5S.

Ah well, Android for you I guess. Bye.

iOS 7 is beautiful and a much-needed update to iOS. Plus it has a lot of easy accessible features. I don't see why people hate it..
 
You'll have to adapt eventually. It's only a matter of time before technology sucks you in. :p
 
When you change something there will always be at least 1 person who hates it. You can't run a company for that minority.

The vast majority of people here prefer iOS7, and that makes it a worthwhile update by Apple. If they had stayed with the old look and feel, they would have fallen behind the competition.

If you don't like it go buy a competing product. Don't expect any sympathy from the majority of iOS users.

FWIW My parents are over 70 and they have no problems adjusting to iOS 7 without any help from me.

I very much doubt anyone cares what you buy or don't buy, or about your reasons for buying/not buying. Seriously. No-one cares. These threads always astound me with their imagined self-importance. The world waits with baited breath to see what you buy or don't buy, and clamors to know why.

In that case, can i heartily recommend an Android Tablet? The Android OS has a much cleaner look and is much better than IOS 7. :rolleyes:

The Point is, if you want/need the hardware, you will have to either give in or purchase an alternative and evaluating UI only, I don't think Windows or Android are as simple and user friendly.

Maybe Blackberry will make a revolutionary tablet you will like? :p

I would like that too but it won't happen. The latest OS will be on the mot updated hardware. Just the way it goes.

The iPad 4 does not feel good in my hands so I went with the mini. Nice concept but very weak WiFi. I would not buy another mini either. This mini is the replacement for the first weak WiFi mini.

Oh well.

You could make it (never going to buy another ipad again) and that would be right. Apple doesn't go back-wards.
