If the noticeable changes in the 5 are like the ones u listed I will be glad that I bought the 4s (although I am glad ATM)
Also as I said I am new to mobile phones in general so what exactly does lte do besides being faster?
What kind of improvements are you looking for that would make you want to upgrade? We've covered pretty much everything that most are looking for... larger screen, new design, LTE, NFC, quad-core, more RAM...? There isn't much else that could be changed.
Certainly sounds to me you're trying to justify your purchase, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's just not a good idea to buy an iPhone many months after its release (or several months before the next one) if you're so concerned about the next gen's features.
On a side note, the fact you mentioned you would like a quad core and better battery life in the same sentence concerns me.
Quad-core ≠ poor battery life. Tasks can be spread across multiple processing cores so each core is not fully loaded. This means the processor does not have to run at max capacity, meaning the two/four cores can run at a much lower voltage and speed which would mean lower battery consumption.
Take into account the time factor as well. A quad-core CPU would be able to complete tasks much quicker than a single-core CPU (or to put it another way, the single core processor would need to stay in an active high power state for much longer than a quad core), meaning the quad can enter a low power state earlier than the single-core can.
Also, most multiple core mobile CPUs I've seen can selectively turn off each core so basic tasks can be run using only one core meaning consumption would be identical to that of a single core processor.
(tl;dr higher performance per watt in most cases)
We are all speculating to this hypothetical iPhone
Can you imagine if there isn't even going to be an iPhone released this year? :s
Not going to happen. Apple is out there to make money.
