I find the update to Siri extremely funny. I've just had a few minutes of fun with my iPhone.
One of the first jailbreak tweaks you will see for ios7 is a way to customize toggles and shortcuts in control center.. Close all in the task manager will be another... Apple will look at what does and doesn't work about the tweaks and implement them in a future update... I would worry about it.

Microsoft couldn't be slower with WP's development...it hasn't had a major update in forever and 8.1 seems pretty minor. Functionally, it's behind iOS. And app-wise, it's a barren wasteland.
Because...the team that works on Siri likely has no relation at all to the team that works on iOS 7 features like Control Center?

Just wanted to ask u guys what to do with this thread if or if not beta 7 is released later today, kill it ? Turn it into a bug fixes and changes (if beta 7 comes out) ? Or change the topic ?
Certainly shouldn't be changed to fixes and changes or anything like that if a new beta update does come out--too much other stuff filling up too many pages of this thread already for it to be useful as far as something like actual fixes and changes for a new update would go.

He also says iOS 8 will be coming out in December. Shall I create a thread on this? As someone on this forum is bound to know if his lying or not! As people clearly think we know the release date of iOS 7 Beta 7.

Good now everyone can stop bitching, haha. Everyone will have it in a couple weeks.
Problem is I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy, who says it will be released on the 21 September.
Lets start another war.
If a GM isn't released tomorrow then I wouldn't bet for a Sept 10 release. And if we get beta 7, you can forget about it.
Given what we know so far and the wording of that email I wouldn't surprised if they meant GA as GM, which is more or less what is expected and what aligns with Apple's usual way of going about iOS releases (GM being available on the day of an event and the actual public release itself being some days later).
That's assuming those "leaks" contain actual information and not something that's some sort of wishful thinking, prototyping, concepts of some sort, etc., etc., etc.What do we NOT know about the 5s hahaha? More leaks then a funnel.

Actually a funnel has only one leak.
Yes, you're right. The third would be the absolute last day. But that would throw a lot of devs off guard, I think. It would be a big, unpleasant surprise.
I think the simplest explanation is that the email was just a typo.
Hopefully it wasnt. I mean developers should be working on their iOS 7 ready apps already
Of course, but right now they're thinking they have til the 17th for launch day, not the 10th. (This is probably one of the reasons Apple leaks the iPhone event date to AllThingsD and Dalrymple.)
