it will support 7.5w btw

and to answer the question yes I will. The ability to charge two phones at once is a big bonus and as somebody who has the series 3 watch i want to just use one pad to charge my main devices. I may buy the air pods case too but it's not as big of a need as the air pods for me don't need to be charged more than once a week anyway.

Thank you the clarification, I must have read that rumored or mid understood.

I hope air power is not priced more than $120 - $140 for being able to charge 2 phones at once or it would be cheaper to get 2 Mophie’s really, if your not charging a watch too .

Personally I wouldn't bother if i didn't have series 3 watch and air pods. Certainly this won't be for everybody.

Um...no. I have a docking station that charges my X and my Watch. If I need to charge my air pods, I have a separate cable for that. The docking station cost me 30 dollars, and meets all of my needs.

That’s another thing that I was mentioning earlier. If the Airpower launched at an earlier date around the iPhone X, consumers maybe would have considered it during the holiday season with the release of the iPhone X/8 alongside their Series 3 Watch. Now iPhone consumers have purchased third-party charging docks and it’s lesser of a need to consider the Airpower at this point.

I wonder though how well it may have sold even at the holidays with a price tag of $200? That's almost the price of a 9.7" iPad, almost the price of a series 1 watch, and more than an apple pencil that will do more for me than just charge my devices.

I probably will, IF it has a pop up portion for the watch like the existing dock that allows you to charge your watch without having to disconnect loop bands. Otherwise, no, I’ll stick with my existing watch dock that has usb outlets to which I attach a charging pad and a couple cords.

I have the iPhone 8 Plus and the AirPods but not Apple Watch. I guess, as you said, with all three it “kind of” makes sense but still I feel, for the usage it provides, it should’ve been a bit cheaper.
I have the Apple Watch, iPhone X and airpods but at £200 I don’t think AirPower will be worth it even for me. It would still require an additional purchase of the case. So that’s coming on for £250 for a charging system. I already have a wireless charger and a charger for my watch and airpods and I don’t think it’s worth spending £250 just because it looks a bit better and is a bit more convenient.

I really don't like the poll options. I'm going to be buying an AirPower. I don't like the 'no matter what' stipulation; if the AirPower cost $3000 then, no, I'm not going to buy it.

I know there's an option for 'maybe, depending on price', but that makes it sound like you're on the fence, and if the price is good enough, you may consider it.

If the first option was a simple 'Yes', I'd click that. As it is, no clicky-button for me! :)

Let's assume it's not $3000 and the price is around what's been speculated.

I wonder how many people saying 'no, no matter what' don't have Apple Watches or iPhone X's

It really depends on the price. I hate that we have to purchase another case for the AirPods though. Also I believe it only supports Watch Series 3 (correct me if I’m wrong), which is a bummer. But if the price is good I might give it a try see how I like it.

I’d be a buyer at /or below 150 only because I have the X, AWS3, and AirPods. However, if its 200.00 I might just pick up the wireless charging AirPod case in hopes that my 7.5w Mophie will charge them.

Nope. Apples price tags are getting a bit out there when you can buy something cheaper that works exactly the same, if not better.

Seriously considering it. My wife and I bought her an iPhone 8 instead of 7 knowing that wireless charging will become easier and more widespread during the 8's useful lifetime. We could put both our phones (whenever I upgrade from my SE) on the pad overnight and not have any wires dangling around like we do now.

My car and laptop have become my regular iPhone chargers, so I don't really need an Airpower pad for daily use.

It would be cool to have for traveling, though. One pad-cable-adapter to serve the same function as three cables-plus-adapters (and still better than the multi-socket USB adapters I've bought).

IMO, that's the best part, being able to charge multiple devices while using just one wall outlet or computer port. Why we don't hear about any other manufacturer doing this, I don't know.

I have a watch and phone that would work, so it's tempting. The problem is I wear my watch to bed and charge during the day (typically at work). So the vast majority of the time, it would only be charging 1 device at a time.

Well I'd have to replace my AW Series 0 with a Series 3, then buy a new AirPods case. Then the $200 for the charger. This would end up costing me like $700+ to get full functionality from the charger.

For the record I don't have an Apple watch nor really plan to buy one anytime soon, so I'm in just to charge the AirPods and iPhone 8, personally.

I agree if you don't have at least two products, it's a complete waste.

For those who don't it's not worth getting...

Exactly. I think that should've been a requisite for voting. I imagine there's several people that voted 'no way' because they don't have anything that could benefit from it. ;)
