I will keep 2 computers on Leopard and 1 on Snow Leopard. So, no, I will not be installing Lion.

Wait.. Whats all this talk about $129?

Can someone chime in and tell me how much I will pay coming from Snow Leopard? I understand that until Apple tells us for sure, we wont know exact prices..

I will upgrade eventually. If it costs $29 to upgrade, then I'll go ahead and buy it right when it comes out. If its more, then I'll have to wait because I have other things I need to buy first (like AppleCare, iPhone 5, etc :D )

I'll upgrade though. Just not sure when.

Generally new OS's cost $130 to upgrade from Apple.
People say that since SL was a small upgrade (from Leopard), that is why the price was only $29.
That is why people say that it might cost $129. I

I'd be somewhat upset with a $130 upgrade because a main switching point for me was $30 upgrades.

Planning on getting in on the next refresh whenever that is. So I probably won't be buying it as I would assume the next refresh will be well after Lion's release date.

I currently own a mid 2010 MBP. Plan to use it for 2 years, so i will upgrade around mid 2012. That will be about a year after Lion gets full release, giving it plenty of time to sort out teething issues. Works well for me since the MBP in 2012 will be preloaded with Lion and I wont have to waste money with the upgrade. Am very happy with my current Snow Leopard and Apps and see no reason to fork out money just to upgrade for a year before buying a new mac which already has it installed for free

i think EVERYONE should upgrade ASAP. the more people on it using it, the faster the bugs will be fixed. it just makes more since. ill be upgrading right away to be playing around with it

Absolutely NOT!

I cannot stand the idea of cross breeding OS X a computer OS, with iOS.

I like iOS as a mobile operating system. But I don't want iOS or Apples self serving Mac App Store on my MBP!

Nor do I want the job of removing or disabling it. That's why I bought my 2011 MBP, even though I have a great new 2010 MBP.

Lion is a step towards the hybrid of OSX and iOS. I dislike iOS, and having seen the recent preview of lion, definitely prefer snow leopard. Will not be upgrading.

I guess I'm one of the few that actually like the thought of an iOS type interface within OSX.

I'll be upgrading.

If it's anything like the recent "upgrades" of iTunes 10 and iPhoto '11 than the answer is an emphatic NO. Lion looks a mess (inconsistent, cluttered, ugly) so far.

Lion won't support Rosetta

I probably won't be upgrading to Lion. I get a bunch of UI features that I am just not interested in and lose something incredibly important like Rosetta? No thank you. I'll wait for the next OS and hope it has a lot more to offer.

Rosetta will not be supported by 10.7 Lion so, for those people that this is important to, try to keep that in mind if you're relying on Rosetta supported apps. More info here.

first week probably, can't wait!

My comment is NOT directed at you, but rather the willingness to give such emphatic support to an OS we really know nothing about.

True, Apple has "leaked" a few tidbits to promote acceptance, for it's own agenda.

But for users to respond without hesitation indicates more blind trust in Apple than in their own good judgement.

It boggles the mind to witness the number of responses like yours.
