We're talking about Windows 7, not Leopard.

Honestly though, if anyone needs a UI change here its OS X. I mean it's not bad, but would adding a few extra themes really kill you Apple? "Graphite" and "Blue" are getting pretty old (if you could even call those themes).

I dual boot mac os x and vista on my macbook pro, and I quite like both for different reasons. I know it's not a very popular thing to say on these forums but most programs respond faster (dare I say "feel snappier" ) in Vista than in Leopard. Plus I prefer the way windows handles mouse accelleration.
So if Windows 7 is only a slight improvement of Vista, fine by me, since I allready like Vista.

Of course they will... Allthough I assume it will be significantly cheaper to upgrade from Vista than buy a stand allone version.

They aren't really adding anything but multitouch features, which about 1% of the market has, and they are fixing the kernel of Vista a previous OS that has problems.

Indeed, it would be nice if they just kept it to a simple 2 editions (excluding a server edition).

I just upgraded from Vista Ultimate to the beta.

Went very smoothly, works just as nicely as Vista, everything is working a-ok.
