[WIP] LockInfo Todo and 2Do Plugin Development

I was using the Appigo todo plugin with my native Lockinfo and it was working fine until I reinstalled Lockinfo today (after deleting all Cydgets - I've decided Lockinfo native is all i need). Now I'm getting the native rendering not supported message in the todo section.

What have I done wrong? Thanks.

The Todo section in LockInfo doesn't show up using the new Todo version 3.4.

Also, the new Todo now supports starring tasks. Could this be an option to implement in the plugin: The ability to show starred tasks, even if undated?

Is 3.4 new today?

OP: I have my "Max Days Shown" set to one but as soon as I complete my last task for the day everything for the next day pops up, even if I complete that task at 1300.

Is there any way it can be set to "current day" so it will display only tasks that have that day's date?

There is an update for Appigo Todo Full but not Lite yet. I have reports that my plugin does not work with the new update but I have to wait for Lite to be updated to fix it.

As far as Current Day goes... Yes this is possible but I have yet to implement it. Right now it just runs on a 24hr limit. So 1 day is anything within 24 hours. I think this could be fixed by just changing it to 0 days... I'll have to look into it. It's been requested before. Would you mind submitting it to my Google Code page so I can track the issue?

Ok, I know it's been a while, but I just made some update to Appigo Todo plugin and 2Do plugin.

Now the 2Do plugin should have all the features the Appigo one has and the Appigo one got a couple small changes and fixes.

On another note, I'd like to mention that I have set up an account with Pledgie to accept donations. It's taking more and more time for me to answer requests of what is now a lot of users (just using the latest versions of my plugin it's about 15k users). Any donations would be welcome but, by no means required! :D It was only recently (becoming employed) that I started donating to developers myself.

Also, I should note, but I'm sure the users here know this already... I'm not the developer of LockInfo. So I don't get the money you use to buy the main program and he doesn't get the donations you give me. We are two different developers. :)

hi, i need some help with the 2do plugin. it was working fine about a week ago now, on the lockscreen the dates do not show up under the bullet point topic. any help guys? ive tried to toggle with all of the settings but cant seem to find what is the problem. thanks

You sure it's the 2Do and not the Todo plugin? Try respringing.
 
i have 2do, i bought it from the app store to go with lockinfo. ive tried a respring and reboot and nothing will fix it. thanks for your response

Did they just release a new version from the App store? You are the first report I've had with this issue. I don't have the Paid version of 2Do. Just the Lite version. I have the paid version of Appigo though.

Do you know how to install a .deb file? You can get a release I put up on my Google Code and see if that's any better.
 
Just updated Appigo Todo for font size issues. Now it should auto size for any size setting you chose. It's version 1.4.3. I think it may also fix the issues for Show Today Only for tasks. Oh also, I think Date Hide works too.

It still says beta... but if you guy say this .deb is good I'll release it as 1.5.0 as well as port it over to the 2Do plugin.

Hi i use your plugin for 2week and i think is better and usefull plugin for me.
But now i use awesome note todo program and there aren't plugin that support it. Why do you make it? the base of todo plugin you have and awesome note use littlesql db (i show it and is clear). Recently Anote get more success.

I was able to understand you just fine. :)

As for Awesome Note... I got started on one a while back but it never really got going. I really haven't had much time to develop it either. Have you taken a look at Appigo Todo? That's the one I use personally. I made a plugin for that as well.

I'm actually very surprised nobody has stepped up to port my code. I've been pretty negligent the past few months and I apologize for that. I'm just getting bored of Todo plugins. ;)

I'm about go on vacation for a while, but when I get back I'll try and revisit my Awesome Note plugin for you. See if it'll be easier for me now.

Another idea that someone came up with is to make a "Developer Mode" or "Developer Version" that would let you chose the filepath to the sqlite db file and write your own query and save it to the plugin folder. That way if I am gone fixes can still be made and/or it makes it really easy to make it support new versions.

Mine doesn't work with iOS4

Your plugin is awesome, but it seems like it doesn't work since I upgraded to iOS4.0. Although some people reported that it works, mine doesn't. My version of Appigo ToDo Plugin is 1.5.0, my Appigo ToDo 3.4.3, and my LockInfo 2.3.3.0. Can you give me any speculation what the problem is? Thank you for your precious help!

I don't know why, but somehow my ToDos are beginning to show up in the lockscreen. I'm not sure what caused the problem, but now I am happy:)
 
Glad to hear it's working for you! My development has pretty much slowed to a stop... I have a couple things I really want to get done before I call it quits but I'm not sure how long it'll take.
 
So Appigo put out a new update tonight with some nice features, and sadly it broke the plugin :(

Edit: nvm. Respring and now it works! Woo hoo
