[WIP] LockInfo Todo and 2Do Plugin Development

So the Appigo plugin is getting another minor update with more language support soon.

I'll be porting all those changes over to the 2Do plugin soon. Also, another developer has started work on a plugin for Awesome Note. I'm also going to try and pull her changes back into my plugins as well.

I started with the Appigo plugin so that's my main dev plugin. After I have that stable I try to push the updates up to my 2Do plugin. So don't worry. Any neat new features should be implemented in the 2Do plugin soon.

I'm going to be out of town this weekend but I may have time to put through an update for testing sometime next weekend.

After the update is crashing the plugin for me. About 5-10 seconds after a respring it crashes to 'sad iPhone'

Did you do any steps to make yours work?

Hum, well my plug-in is there, but it is not working right. If I update my todo list in the appigo app, it does not update on lockinfo screen and vice versa. :(

EDIT: You can also try the new test deb (1.6.2) from the Google Code page. http://code.google.com/p/appigo-lockinfo-todo/downloads/detail?name=TodoPlugin_1.6.2.deb&can=2&q=

That will likely fix this issue for most people. The steps listed on the project home page should fix it 100% of the time in case the new deb didn't do anything.
 
FYI

Pushed Appigo Todo Plugin 1.6.2 to MMI now. Should eliminate the need for the uninstall/re-install fix as well as provide better language support.

I removed the old plug in first and then installed the new deb and looks like it is now working fine.

Only weird thing is the badging on the Appigo app itself does not update until I actually open the app up. This is if I mark an item complete from the lockscreen. This most likely has nothing to do with your plug-in though, and more likely is something with the appigo todo app itself. I mean, the actual item is checked off as being done within the appigo todo app itself, just the badge does not update itself automatically. :confused:

No big deal though. Just thought I would bring it up.

Yea, that's just the way it's going to be. I don't know how I'd trigger a badge update or if that's even possible.

I admire your work, 2do plugin really makes my day. As a little thanks I made section_icon for retina display for you. It is the same as the original one in terms of appereance. Here you go:

Hey Vivid, don't know why but with updating my jailbreak to 4.1 whenever I try to install the Appigo todo plugin for lockinfo, it causes the springboard to crash. The only way I can get out of "safemode" is to uninstall it in cydia and respiring. Something there just doesn't seem to be compatible. :confused:

Well that's interesting...

Does anyone else have it running in 4.1? Also, could you get me a syslog with the crashes? I don't have 4.1 on my iPhone yet. Is there a good way to get that on my iPhone 3G yet? I know limera1n doesn't work on the iPhone 3G.
 
I've got the Appigo plugin up and running on 4.1 on my iPhone 4. It comes and goes from the lock screen though. A re-spring usually makes it reappear.

But it doesn't crash right away either... Hmm. I need to get 4.1 on my phone and do some playing with it.

redsn0w works on the iPhone 3G, and has been out for a little over 3 weeks. The 3G was the first to get jailbroken 4.1 support.

Probably have to do some research to determine if it'll just be better to wait for pwnagetool, though, since that's due this weekend.

Cool. I'll do Pwnage to be safe and save my phone for unlock in case I sell it. I have the downgradable baseband though so it's not a big deal.

I'm excited to get 4.1 though! I'm still running that old 4.0 GM leak and it's unbearable on my iPhone 3G! If it wasn't for having to test my plugin I'd probably roll back to 3.x.
 
Just wanted to update you on how it got it to not crash. I uninstalled the plug in totally. Then also uninstalled Appigo. Reinstalled Appigo with the newest version out. Then reinstalled your plug-in. So far for the past day no problems. Don't know what the deal was. Glad it's working now though.

Strange, I didn't think that would work but it did. Now mine is working too
 
Hey everyone! Just built a new version I'm hoping to release soon for the Appigo plugin.

This one has the High Res checkmark icon posted here and custom filters for Tags.

I need someone to test the tag filtering for me. Worked for me but I want to make sure it's good before posting on MMI.

Basically, when you install it initially, does it hide all your icons or does the default for the Tag Filter in your settings start as blank? Then if you add tags to your items can you put text in there and have it filter?
 
Anyone having problems with latest sdo update (2.3)?
Task list is not updated on my lockscreen.

Side question: any news about awesome note plugin?

So I haven't tested the latest update of 2Do. Actually... I don't use my iPhone as my phone anymore. :p I'll try to take a look at it sometime tomorrow and see if I can figure out any issues.

As for awesomenote, yea. http://code.google.com/p/awesomenote-lockinfo-plugin/

I'm asking the dev if she's released it yet, otherwise I can try to compile a .deb.

Thanks for having a look at plugin.

I hope we will soon have also a .deb for awesome note!
