This is the problem with the apple watch, Steve jobs him self said this is what not to do when he saved Apple from failing in the 90's. You have to find a problem to fix, not create somthing and try to find what it could fix. The apple watch fixes nothing, it's cool but for the masses an irrelevant product.

Yeah no one wears activity trackers these days.... totally irrelevant!

See how silly your comment is? Irrelevant to you maybe... I'll be waiting to see your retraction when apple makes bank on these babies.

It doesn't fix much now, you're right. However, the future for wearables is insanely great. This watch in several years, may monitor numerous biometrics. If it does, and accurately, that changes the world. If you question whether or not that would change the world, you have no imagination, and/or no knowledge as to health. Whether a lot of it is done on a watch or other wearables, they will be tracking numerous biological, physiological, and kinesiological metrics, among others, and if you're wondering...yes, it will change the world.

Thankfully people working at Apple aren't as cynical as many who post here.

Because prople are gana pay 5x the price cause it has an apple logo? So yes, irrelevant.

5x the price of what? What current model smartwatch out there is 5x cheaper than $350?
Yeah I don't get that either. The Apple Watch Sport is effectively the price of a Fitbit fitness tracker and a Pebble notification band combined.

Read the comment, he was talking about activity trackers.

Regardless of what he was talking about, the apple watch isn't being marketed as just an activity tracker, is it? ;) It's the same thing as saying people are willing to spend 5x more on an iPhone then they otherwise would have to spend on a flip phone just because it has an apple logo. It's a completely ridiculous argument because an iPhone (or any smartphone for that matter) is a completely different product that also happens to make phone calls.

Again read the conversation. I said it is an irrevlevant device, he said people use trackers so it isn't, I said you can get a stand alone tracker for way cheaper.
