When i edit the plist gule to have that string i still don't get the switch in the camera app. Only en settings under photo

I get the same thing, still looking into it.

Awesome that HD video is making progress..

Hows that HDR coming?

when it's set to 1280X960. i can hear the camera clicking and lagging, i thinks it's the autofocus.

HDR i will work on that tomorrow, i think finish the Video camera now, but only at 960X720

Can you post what things you changed to enable HD recording? I'd like to give it a try and tweak it as well.

could have swore i saw a guide on ispazio that showed how a month ago. the only reason why i didnt click is because i use my iphone 4 now.

iphone 3g.

but that guide would probably work on a 3GS now that we can jailbreak it on 4.1.

That tutorial to enable HDR on the 3G/3GS do not work. It was created by people who had no access to a jailbroken 4.1 device and did not know that the frameworks were totally missing from the 3G(S) firmware. This isn't like enabling wallpapers or multitasking, where the code was all there and you just needed to flip a switch.

I believe they removed it because they are using Apple's files. Jailbreaking might be 'legal' now but that's still a no-no.

No, they removed it because it was completely worthless. All it did was automate the same change as the useless iSpazio tutorial.

I see that now, I never downloaded it. I saw a guide that said it also 'enabled' game center so that's why I assumed the file were included.

The MediaFire video plays back nicely on my iPhone 3Gs. Is the autofocus on video record something that was included in 4.0? I don't have it on my 3.1.3 3Gs.

Well done on the high res video. I appreciate all your work. If you get around to HDR, I would also be very interested in that (if you couldn't tell already). In any case, the video recording is awesome.
