Hi @cfc sometimes when I’m running I receive a pop up saying authorize (or authenticate?) your appleID. Basically it’s asking for my Apple password.

I’m on a regular AW10 on latest OS and phone is not tethered. I do not have a cellular watch.

I haven’t been able to insert my password as it’s very long (password manager) and my phone is not with me when running hence I cannot when I see the screen.

Pop up is coming from the OS. Any idea why? I don’t see this when using the native workout app fyi.

WorkOutDoors would never ask for your Apple ID so it must be watchOS that is requesting that.

Hi there,

Quick heads up.....

I'm still utilizing test flight and updated yesterday.

Took a walk last night and WOD did not grab my heart rate even though all permissions on turned on.
Grabbed all the other stats, just seemed to not get the HR.

@cfc what's the chances of implementing a feature allowing users to edit treadmill distance after a run before saving? Similar to what you can do on Garmin, Coros etc?

It's been missing on the apple watch for years and have no idea why it hasn't been implemented yet. For someone like myself I need it, I work in the middle of the ocean for half the year and can only use a treadmill to run on. It is very frustrating after every run to see 5 miles on the treadmill but the watch says 3.5! All stats etc then are useless in health and supporting apps.

Thanks for an otherwise spot on app

I also would love to see this feature. It's pretty wild that no one has attempted this either, such a common feature on other platforms.

For what it's worth, if you look into the Runn treadmill sensor, it's a great option. I just got one and it's much more accurate for pacing and distance compared to watch only, as it uses reflective markings and optical sensors to measure the actual belt speed. I believe this is even more accurate than the treadmill itself. I had an inkling my new (to me) treadmill was a little faster than what it was reporting i.e. 6mph felt more like 6.2mph and the Runn sensor proved me right. It pairs to the watch via work out doors and provides distance and current speed straight into the watch. Just don't use it for cadence, I would suggest continuing to pull that data from the watch itself.

Speaking of the Runn sensor, it can also provide % grade but it doesn't seem to be set up to utilize that data in WO (@cfc). Is there a way to get that to work? The device itself will show changes to the % grade in its calibration app but WO only seems to pull Pace, Distance, and Cadence from it. It would be sweet to be able to include that data in the workout so we can still have grade/elevation in treadmill workouts.

I'd appreciate larger numbers. I don't know which models users are using, but for the past three years of AWultra and since version 10, we've had really larger screens, and the numbers could be much larger.
I especially struggle during intervals to see what's written on the AW3 and what the next step is.
The text there takes up maybe 20% of the screen, and there's plenty of space.
Another issue is readability. I know it looks nice in color, but in my opinion, the next steps displayed on the screen should only be white.
The connected fields could also have much larger numbers, because now they also take up about 60% of the screen.

Secondly, I've mentioned this a few times and I'll mention it again.
I don't even import workouts from Fit anymore; setting them up in the program is quick enough, but more available workout types—recovery, easy, endurance, LT Supra LT Vo2max, sprint, etc.—would definitely make planning sessions easier.
Thank you and best regards.
