A bunch of reviews have mentioned the 2x zoom quality improvements on the 17 Pros vs the 16 Pros so far. I tested it in non-night-mode low light, and it's very real and distinct. To me, the improvements are even more obvious in video at 2x in low light.

The cameras now save ultrawide photos at 24 megapixels. I thought this meant a general increase in ultrawide camera quality, but if I set the camera to output max of 12 megapixels in low light, I couldn't reproduce any concrete improvements in low light images, though the videos do have less noise in general. Maybe the Ultrawide is mostly just benefitting from a better noise reduction algorithm.
