Hmmm I wonder why this thread died...

*Goes back to MRL*

For those that aren't doing it already MRL (macrumorsLive), and Engadget bith are having great coverage, and showing slightly different photos's etc.
I have both open in Firfox switching back and forth.

I'm saying this as if anyone is going to read this note before the keynote is over LOL...silly me.

So far Engadget has better pics since they are closer. But they are slightly slower to get them out :(

I'm not exactly overwhelmed by their solution for 3rd party apps on the iPhone, I thought Web2.0 + AJAX etc. was a given since it was running safari. I want a solution that is not tied to internet connectivity. (for example: I use my palm device to run network diagnostic tools sometimes, or what if I want a offline game or this or that? I think Apple is cutting themselves short. Apple could have made a 'sand box' that all 3rd part apps have to run in, Palm and Windowz phones can run 3rd party apps fine.

And can someone help me to understand why Safari on Windows is of any importance ?
the only thing I can think of, is to boost Safari numbers so that web developers will think about it more.

Except if there's a quiet release of iMacs with Santa Rosa, small CPU upgrades, like the MBPs. Since the US Store is still down.

But that's not really "new" hardware.

What's the point of having Safari on Windows? Must be related to future webbased projects.... as Steve sorta already mentioned at the D conference: they will be developing webbased services pretty soon.

Guess we'll find out.

A bit disappointed about the AJAX though for the iPhone. Sure it'll work great, but wasn't every developer sorta hoping that there would be a real SDK for the iPhone?

I was hoping for some new cinema displays since they haven't been updated in awhile but guess I will have to wait :(

I was going to give Apple my hard earned money today in hopes of a new mini with better specs. I guess not though.

*stuffs lots of cash back into wallet.*

I am very sad! :~( I suppose I will have to wait and see what happens now.
