I'm looking for ZFS-related news, myself... and whatever Steve discusses regarding Leopard. Other things are less important. :p

Alas, I will be unable to join in on the MacRumorsLive fest this time, due to college classes :(

Meh, nothing new :D I'm just hoping for what everyone else here seems to be hoping.

Besides that, I'm really expecting an improvement in Flash performance inside OSX.

It's just one of those things that I can't understand, is it Apple's or Adobe's fault that Flash behaves so poorly within OSX? and.. when will this problem be adressed?

And the German transcript looks fake but... OMG let it be real! LOL

Regarding Flash... you really should try iSwiff. I love the thing - it plays Flash files surprisingly quickly. Better than Safari and Firefox, at least.

I agree with your other two points :D

Whoa! Thanks a lot, this must be the first time that someone actually agrees with "everything" I said here on MacRumors! :D

eheheh... But I'm really hoping for a Flash engine improvement!

BTW, how long does it usually take for a keynote to be uploaded to Apple's website? 1 hour? 2 hours? MORE? :D

I'm in a good mood today...

There are a couple of places you can stay put to get information from the WWDC Keynote today:

http://live.sitening.com/wwdc2007 (They utilize Amazon.com's S3 high capacity servers to ensure quick delivery of information during the keynote - refreshes every 15 seconds automatically)

http://www.macrumorslive.com

http://www.engadget.com/2007/06/11/steve-jobs-live-from-wwdc-2007/

If anyone knows the best place to get live coverage from WWDC that I haven't mentioned, let me know.

By far, the fastest updates are through the IRC channel of macrumors. Updates are way faster than the Ajax page because you don't wait for refreshes. The channel is #macrumors and server is irc.macrumorslive.com

Another option would be the live audio stream from here but I doubt they would be able to handle the surge of traffic.

Looks like the entire Apple community is going into collective meltdown at the anticipation. Only about 40 mins until it opens and then we can all get down to the serious business of discussing what will have just happened at the Steve-note.

It remains to be seen what will turn up at the conference, so I am not expecting anything in particular apart from Leopard. Hopefully we'll have some surprises in the works as well.

I'm sure I could come up with more "wish list" items. I know most of this will never come to pass, and since WWDC is for developers most of this would be irrelevant for WWDC; but I can still wish can't I ? :D

best regards to all, and may all your Apple dreams come true this WWDC (kinda like having a mid-year Holiday)

I'd love an Aperture like UI for Leopard that would be sweet. I guess that counts as highly unlikely though :).

I'm just interested to see if the Mac Pro is updated and if I can upgrade my revision one Mac Pro with the new graphics card (if there is one).

Another reason why I love Expose!
I just wish I had a larger screen...

OK I don't generally like speculating, but the keynote is one hour away so here is my view on what WWDC will reveal:

- Leopard is cool, but still in beta and not completely stable yet.
- There are no significant "secret features" revealed.
- Logic 8 is not announced (yet again).
- iPhone gets way too much emphasis.
- Maybe some hardware updates to the iMac and maybe even AppleTV.

That's it:)

Warning: Wildly speculative wishful thinking ahead.

Apple announced the iPhone when they did because they didn't want the FCC to be the ones revealing it while it went through the approval process.

What if the iPhone is just one of a whole new family of products. The others weren't announced because they didn't have to be.

POWERBOOK G5!!! so i can finally upgrade my PBG4!!!

didn't you hear, we're skipping G5 and going right to the Power5 or Power6
so I'm guessing Apple will call them the Powerbook G6 to help us know the proper order of things.
