Yep - the latest it's ever been, I believe. I remember WWDCs of the past and the past 3 have been in May, late June and early June. It's almost as if Apple is delaying it on purpose to coordinate it with the release of a new Intel-based product or something... weird, huh? :p

Nah. This is all about Leopard. Apple stated very clearly that the release cycle would slow down, and this is reflecting that. My guess is Leopard won't even be presentable as a developer beta until August.

Hmm, maybe I need a new tar. Leopard anyone?

"Smee, a bolt of lighting has just struck my head."

They could have easily done it in June and announced Conroe 'Mac Pros' and not shipped them for 3 months like they did with the G5.

Apple pushed back the WWDC to allow MS time to finish Vista so they can jointly announce Windows Vista: Apple (or Mac) Edition. I can see it now: Introducing the worlds first Mac...that's also a PC.

Before anyone says I'm crazy just take a stroll down 'memory lane' to last years WWDC.

Remember, you heard it here first. ;)
