Would You Buy A 3Gs?

I bought a 3GS recently

I am a former BlackBerry user for many years and wanted to try the iPhone. I was not qualified for a hardware upgrade via my carrier and purchased a 3GS in August off someone I know. It came with AppleCare until Sept.30th, 2011, I love this phone especially for the internet. When the next generation of iPhone comes out I will likely upgrade at that time.

I'm a BlackBerry guy, but even then sometimes I wish I had an iPhone lying around for random use, games, and that way I have an all in one iPod/Phone device for my car.

Maybe you should consider an iPod Touch. It's not going to be your all in one device, but it might be justifiable because it wont be $380.

That being said, I have a 3GS and iOS4 works almost as good as it does on an iPhone 4 (though it does lack some features).

If you have an upgrade available on contract, you can get a 3GS for $99 and alternate your SIM between your Blackberry and 3GS.

I personally would not go back to a 3GS. I am use to the Retina display, front / back camera with flash and it's bad ass design!
